Z4 upgrades

latest.....

Just picked up the following from Thurmaston body works (http://www.thurmastonbodyworks.co.uk/)

Aero Front bumper with black grill
Aero side skirts
Aero rear spoiler
Facelift light frames

all done in Titanium silver, great job done and only cost me £350 CASH :D :D

Ready for tomorrows start of transforming the Z4....

that is a good price, as i just paid £160 to have my M rear bumper sprayed (although there was some deep scratchs and a tear)

They did fix the front bumper as it did have a crack in it

When i got there they were sanding down an Aston Martin, right back to the metal for a repaint.. :(

He told me that he got them originally from BMW Germany and they are the last ones made.

Just for clarity, I did get them from BMW Germany and at that time they were the last ones in stock. I was lucky to get them at that time because they would have then been on back order.

I haven't advertised the Alpina yet, although it's virtually back to standard. I am debating whether to advertise the hardtop for sale first. I will also be removing the alu tec 3 piece strut brace and possibly the clear indicators and clear brake light as well as the carbon fibre bagdes. Then it will be completely back to standard.

By the way Neil the wheels look fantastic, they're just the ticket. Keep up the good work.

Can't wait to see the pics.... Of both cars :poke:

Is it easy retrofitting the m bumper?
It's easy if you get all the parts you need, if you are upgrading lights to facelift then you need new light frames, and bumper mount otherwise is straight forward. We both had parking sensors in the bumper and as I had tv the aerials are attached to both corners of the inside if the bumper. As the m bumper has a different fixing to the central underside we cut down the old bumper to make a bracket which would bolt back to the battery box. Will take pic tomorrow showing this.

Very good work guys, I see youve slipped on the //M badge as well which is gonna get you some grief on here. Did the whole process take long?
