Z4 to Elise..

I'm looking at possibly selling my 3.0i Z4, to get a s2 lotus Elise...

I was just wondering, has anyone done this, or just owned both to give me an opinion?

The thing putting me off is the lack of power in the Elise (122bhp from memory)

Any input would be brilliant!
Have a look at a VX220 Turbo 197 BHP/ airbags anti locking brakes/ 4/5 shopping bags in the boot. Loved mine :driving:

Had a look around one/ sat in one a while back. Im generally not bothered about practicality but i found it ridiculously difficult to get in/ out (6.2"). Love the Exige & always wanted one but crossed it off the list after that day.

+1 I went out intending to buy a S1 about 12 years ago, Manage to get in it but there was no way I could drive it, without cutting off my left knee. :o

Weird as I have met many owners well over six foot that fit in/out without a problem :idunno:

I purchased a new Elise for my daughters 21st a few years ago, she loved the car but in my opinion she had rose tinted glasses on all the time! it was noisy, no brake servo, difficult to get in and out,and if she gave me a lift I used to crawl out on my hands and knees if parked next to a high kerb, and the ride was absolutely appalling.

When she sold it after about 2.5 years there was a fibre glass crack on the top of the drivers door opening and a bit of fibre glass crazing on certain parts of the bodywork, I was very glad when she sold it!!!
