the only Z4 to score 5 stars in Evo magazine and there for the best ever Z4.

this is a typical biased comment I'm talking about hanging about a roadster thread feeling maybe insecure to need to mention whos' got the best Z4 when its not a thread about "BEST" cool story about the 5 star evo mag though man :headbang:

I wished I'd of took this pic yesterday now as I left work. Sun beating down beautiful blue skies with roof down happy as larry. I got on the motorway and within 2 mins driving oh look there's a black coupe with a grumpy 50yr+ man windows fully up AC probably on full and hogging the middle lane of course. :fuelfire:

Happy to dish out the snide comments but can't take them back the other way.
Each time you comment back I just think you must secretly like roadsters to be hanging onto this thread sort of emphasises my earlier points to the thread.... :?

Must be convertibles they just attract welcome attention. I remember before I drove convertibles I would look at people driving old sports cars on cold days scarf/hat on etc and think oi nutter what are you doing. I realise now after owning many different cars it doesn't matter if its an old peugeot,ford,vw,bmw,mini,merc,classic/vintage or 1.1 micra etc. There's just something special about open top motoring.

seen these AC cobras last weekend at a show I'd trade my Z4 in a heart beat for one.

It's not biased, it's the objective view of a professional motoring journalist with far more driving talent and experience than anyone on this forum. And you didn't seem to notice I was baiting MC drivers and I didn't mention roadsters at all. Typical roadster driver, think it's all about you :D

At least you don't deny it.

He is very assumptive and quick to draw the wrong conclusions. I commented on another thread that a square stance setup reduces understeer not oversteer and that quickly turned into accusations of me saying a square stance is no good and I should shut up as I've never been on track. Neither of which are actually true. Just as I was not allowed to have an opinion on roadsters because I don't know what it's like, when I owned one... I never actually said I disliked them either but somehow because I prefer a coupe I'm accused of hating on them!!!

Its a known fact M3 drivers use square setup on track to compensate for over steer and get better lap times. I really couldn't care what book u read or programme u watched. I work in a garage for a well known company full of engineers who race cars I don't need stupid info u think might be right when I put it into practise for real. You was basically telling us the opposite even though about 4 people commented that they too use square setup and said it did the same as what I did. Were all wrong and your right go figure that out. People like you make me laugh. This guys is a complete idiot hanging around trying to bag points about who's got the best car how old are you 10. You sound like some of the idiots form M3 cutters when they talk about bmw owners with non M cars. There's always people like you on the internet full of crap you probably think bmw engineers are the best too and no car has ever been made better. Absolute idiot people like this are just like some of the M3 lot u buy top performance car suddenly it makes them a car guru and pro racer...

admin feel free to delete the thread as some feel the need to spoil it

I know its quite embarrassing really, its all fun and games though I've been around forums long enough to know he's probably one of them idiots on the internet then at meets try and be all friendly like Hi its me Steve your cars lovely...lol

It was never a roadster vs coupe thread jog on and behave will ya Steve there's a good zedder

Alas, you are still seemingly incapable of reading what I’ve actually said and instead resort to playground insults by private message...

I've worked in trade for 10yrs+ since I left school I'm a HGV engineer at VOLVO harthsorne its the no.1 truck company in the world I'm not stupid go and watch topgear or something u sound like a right idiot

For the record:
- I agree that a square stance setup is good on track (but it reduces understeer not oversteer for the umpteenth time). Not understeering and turning in better with more of the cornering load shared between the front & back is why it works. I was not saying the opposite, you just don't understand why it works. If you still don't believe me and my 'stupid info' then see for yourself what other people with M3s think: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/archive/index.php/t-375971.html
- I also like roadsters (yes honestly!)
- At what point did I try to claim I had the best car? One minute comments are banter and the next I'm an idiot. I'll let you figure out what I think of you.
- Nowhere did I profess to be a car guru or pro racer, you keep assuming things incorrectly.

I did hear people who bought Coupe's only did so because they were scared their toupee would fly off!

being ugly doesn't help either id see why a coupe has its benefits now

I actually pm'd you as I didn't want any conflict of interest against my job. As you clearly feel the need to copy and paste it to share it really doesn't matter now but thanks anyway

Well I was trying to have a reasoned discussion with you but all I get back is school boy responses with no actual substance. Clearly that's an impossibility given your level of intellect.

That was my first post on this thread buddy, and it's obviously light hearted. Are you some kind of retard? It's not just a roadster thread, it's about how you think coupe drivers are grumpy. And anyone is allowed to reply how they like. Who do you think you are reply to my post on your thread like that when you say it's all light hearted near the top of your thread.

Hypocritical tosspot

Everyone step away from their keyboards! It's a Z4 forum (that's Coupes and Roadsters), we're on here because we like the Z4, please can we start a thread bashing SLK/Boxster/Cayman/TT etc?

Where was the topic where I expressed how the forum is getting more chavy as the cars become cheaper?

For what it's worth I prefer the open air experience of the convertible and get to hear that lovely induction note even clearer, but secretly prefer the look of the Coupe

Tom will hopefully get to drive my Roadster at Castle Combe on Monday, but from my pov I can't tell any difference in rigidity between the two chassis on track, nor any real performance difference. 8)

Here I am last month enjoying the open air freedom the Roadster gives me! :headbang: :D
