Z4 racing stripes?

Personally - don't do it :(

In the snobbiest way possible, i think when people start to add aftermarket stripes to these cars it degrades the model's brand image - and becomes less desirable. You have to be SO careful to pull this off and make it look OEM+ rather than essex-carpark. Have to admit there are some 'not-bad' examples listed, i agree the ones that are highly modified you can probably make it fit in, but on a stock car it just doesn't work imo.

Don't mind some out-there mods that are considered extreme for a bit of diversity but adding bad stickers for your supermarket run... you may as well add dulux matt paint and glue on some cardboard body kit components.

On the other hand - the ///M stripes and fun stickers for LeMans / Road trip events are cool, and acceptable as it's a special event where you're meant to sticker-up.

Just my two cents, don't take any offence :p

Essex car park  I think you'll find this sort of cheap tat is frowned upon in this county, mainly because they look s**t.

Fine - a norfolk carpark :P

Essex style cars have become more mainstream now the big manufacturers are adding bodykits, stripes and 19" rims to diesel base models :D

BMW included...

Id probably include BMW in the 'big manufacturers' :p

But i'm not a huge fan of BMWs these days, i think they've lost their way a bit. The North Oxford garage i drive past occasionally had a 320d in the window that actually fooled me to thinking it was something special.

I'll probably test a new M4 when i can to see what i think of them, if they hold the same feel.

I do like a good striping, but it really has to match the car such as the one I posted earlier. I think that looks really good.
Having said that, those stripes are pretty expensive for what it is tho. I was really surprised by the prices...

Although... has anyone ever tried this with plastidip? Probably a lot cheaper and better customiseable...
