Yup!

Dan from Hollographics has been very helpful - he can cut the one into three if needed! I still don't see how it can be that hard?!!

Knew I'd seen them somewhere, I've used holographics for Le mans vinyls before, very good service and quality. What colour is your zed? And why a "travelling funfare ride" beatle?

Miln0039, that's brilliant  I would never just have these on my car day to day, but I would love such an excuse to dress it up temporarily. It would look fantastic on a white coupe

It's a Black Coupe. I had also thought it would look great on white! I was considering a white stripe base yen mounting the individual M stripes on top...

Will be sure to post pics after I've put them on - will be the weekend before we leave :)

First Le Mans so it would be rude not to!!

There was a Z4M on PistonHeads that had a stripe, looked great. Red M, with a dark red stripe, worked well. All of the others in this thread look awful :o

But at least while looking awful I'll be having fun sir!

Stripes are not for to everyones taste, but at the end of the day it's your car. If you want them get them - I've had them, took them off for for insurance reasons only otherwise they'd still be there.

Not seen those pics of your car before th30d0r3, personally I think the car looks absolutely stunning. What were the insurance reasons for removing?

That does look rather good! Not quite the style I'm personally going for but good none the less!

How hard were they to fit?

I didn't declare them to the insurance and made a claim coz some dozy mare grazed my OSR arch while I was parked. I didn't wanna take the chances of voiding my insurance so I removed them before I claimed, good thing too coz they came out to look at it.
It takes quite some time to get it fitted and you can't just buy stripes and expect them to mould to the coutours of the car on the nose, you actually have to fit wider ones and trim them down to the correct width after fitting. the rest of the car isn't so bad since the stripe can be heated and smoothed to fit.

It looked mean in the flesh, but attracts a lot of attention both desired and otherwise.

I quite like the idea of some stripes to chav up my car a little more :)
Actually, when you look around so many cars have them now so it shouldn't stand out too much.

Road Trip put a stripe on his and he loved it.
He said the only comment that he rearly cared about was from his son "Cool" and that was good enough for him.

Pic of Road Trips car.

Just saw your post on pistonheads - very nice! When are you heading down?

Leaving very early on Wednesday morning!! Likely to make this feel like the longest two day week ever - feels very real and exciting now the stickers are on!

Got some interesting looks in the work car park this morning though!

Was yours the Grey coupe on black wheels I saw on the PH thread? I liked the look of your stickers if so! Don't see many coupe's in that colour either - I wish I'd held out longer!!!

Where are you staying down there?

Yep, that's mine!

We're not going down till Friday - getting the 07.20 (I think) Eurotunnel and camping in Beausejour. I'm praying the weather isn't TOO bad, let's face it we're not in for a heatwave, but anything but a monsoon and I'll be happy.

I do like that colour...was it an option one them originally or is it something from the Individual range?

Having looked at various forecasts, I too am hoping for anything beyond monsoon. Dry(ish) will do me. It should be dry though as I've spent a fortune on waterproofs now!

We're staying on Maison Blanche (M29-M34) so if you're in the vicinity drop by for a beer - you should be able to spot the car 8)
