Bing said:I've just test-fitted the holder to an old vent that I have as I had a suspicion something was missing, and there's a screw required to secure it to the vent which isn't with the cupholder. It'll be obvious when you fit it together. Shouldn't be an issue to find one in the garage that does the trick... I wouldn't think 'ah, it'll be ok without' though, because I'm pretty sure it'll rattle if not screwed together.
