Z4 OEM cupholders, global sell out!

The seller on Amazon is Eluka Inc - delivery charge is £11, must be coming from the States. Says they have left and right cup holders, but delivery is between 3rd and 23rd September for my passenger side

Hi Bing, I ordered mine from here at the end of July and they turned up last week. Fitted well with no real issues. So I'd suggest, for those that want them, get them ordered before they sell out to.

Only fitted them yesterday so no squeaks, yet! But thanks for tell me about that lads as there's no way that I'll now be listening for it now and then it'll piss me off! :x ha

Amazon have not contacted me about the BMW Online order to refund me yet...but nor is it marked as dispatched

So I received a passenger side cup holder today - from Palo Alto in California, took less than a week :o

Unfortunately I ordered both faceplates from BMW along with the driver side cup holder, and they have not arrived... Though neither has the order been rejected. Says target dispatch today, delivery on Saturday... When we are in Scotland already :headbang: :headbang:

Might install the passenger side without a faceplate, but I fear my OCD will prevent this...

However I'm happy that I appear to have managed to source what are now extremely rare parts.

You realise that, if you install the Px side cupholder, WB will assume that you've done it so he can eat & drink in the ///M

Nice one Bing, I missed out on Gingertossers garage sale, what's the link to these guys please?

Eureka! I mean, the guys you already mentioned (note to self - use all available clues!)

Just search for Z4 cupholders on Amazon UK - the company is Eluka Inc.

Don't tell PVR, but that's kind of the point... He. An do it without spillages. We do have a 9 hr drive after all, so I will be eating and drinking in the car too...

Seen these on e-bay whilst looking for something else !

Might be useful for somebody !

I've just test-fitted the holder to an old vent that I have as I had a suspicion something was missing, and there's a screw required to secure it to the vent which isn't with the cupholder. It'll be obvious when you fit it together. Shouldn't be an issue to find one in the garage that does the trick... I wouldn't think 'ah, it'll be ok without' though, because I'm pretty sure it'll rattle if not screwed together.

it's not even that it'll rattle, (it can) but it can also get pushed in a little too far and get jammed, discovered this the other day when i realised i hadn't done one of the screws on mine lol
