Have XS Power got a better name these days? Remember back in the old MR2 times they had a terrible name for aftermarket manifolds and the like which constantly cracked and poorly fitted!

XS Power specializes in stainless steel race manifolds.
I really dont know much about this company.
The manifolds I installed were brand new designed for the M54 engine and got them at a good price.
Everything so far seems to work perfectly!

OK, so yours is a left hand drive then? Was the exhaust tubing diameter the same on the headers (after the collectors) as the z4m exhaust front section? Is it all 2.5"? I'm asking as I am in the process of putting the z4m system on mine but I changed my headers for E36 M3 headers which is 2" after the collectors, so I'm going to have a step up in diameter by 0.5" and was wondering what kind of effect will that have.

Z4m exhaust manifolds have different diameter and can't fit on the m54 engine.
All the rest exhaust system is just a matter of work and installation.
If you wish to put e36 M3 manifolds you have to make modifications or solder.

Can you please provide the part numbers for these 4 pieces pictured? I didn't see them listed in your part number list.

Thanks,
Chris

P.S. I installed the Z4M exhaust on my 2.5i and it was really quite inexpensive. I paid $500 shipped for a used mid section and rear mufflers. I used the front section from my original 2.5i exhaust and made them match up (cut/weld on the 2.5i section, did not touch the M section). All said, ~$750 total.

I am currently going through this same process, & I have a question. The floor plate as well as the 2 rails with the bolts hanging down,....the black ones.......did you fab those or do you have the accurate part numbers?.

Did you reinstall the charcoal canister or did you leave it off?

Chuck it away and blank the pipe that runs to the engine. It has no use aside some sort of heated room fume testing routine.

My quad systems worked for years without it

Well it's been quite a while, but I had promised for a sound video. The car at the moment isn't fitted with the OEM Z4M exhausts but with two custom-made backboxes.

Sound is even more impressive in motion, especially when heard fom the outside.
But because of the fact that the backboxes are custom-homemade, too much bass passes inside the cabin and gets annoying.
