Hi All,
Been a long time since i had the time or inclination to go any deeper than a good wash on the cars. With Spring coming and having made the Freelander look pretty on New Years day i felt the love and decided to give the Z4 a tickle.
This was only ment to be a hand polish but closer inspection highlighted alot of etched water marks still hiding from last summer and my in-laws sprinkler system...... The car is in pretty good condition since i corrected a few years back with a DA, my wash routine is a little extreme but very few marks were present.
So i got out the Festool Rap150 and because of the lack of dusting I used Dodo Juice Lime Prime on a 3M Yellow Pad.
Heres some during shots....
Inspection light wall mounted works really well
Looking good.
I couldnt really correct the drivers side as it was a little tight so i wiped the panels down and decided to use the one Wax ive had for close to a year without using once..... Zymol Royale...
Curing
Done..
My two Black Beauties.
Finally a nice day so got the car out and finished the other side...
And Waxed..
And finished....
Maybe my favorite reflection pics of this correction..
Saying that this looks pretty slick..
When i get a chance ill give it a little wipe over with Z8 but didnt want to effect the wax before it had truly cured for 24 hours.
Anyway Thanks for looking.
