Z4 is put away =(

seeing how much crap is on my winter beater already i'm glad i put my Z4 away!! definitely don't want any frostry white salt all over my roadster!!

also nice to have the freedom to just drive around without worrying about things like curbing the rims, bottoming out, putting in premium fuel, finding the optimal parking spots, getting hit by other crappy drivers, and since it's automatic, nice to not to have change gears in the traffic

but still, i miss having the fun factor of a Z4

BMWs should be on a higher standard. But I guess sometimes less is more. Hope you can get it sorted out your way. :)

I visited my car in storage today. It was nice to start it up and hear the growl. It was equally hard not to go for a ride. Well, one month down, hopefully only 3 to go.

one month down?? i've only had it put away for a week. yes, i try to get every last day out of the roadster calendar :D

i will have to go visit my Z4 in storage sometime soon too, but i too will be tempted to take it for a spin ... must resist!!! :(

so sad that FORD has THAT many negative nicknames

i wonder how much is lingering stigma, how much is truth based on newer models? i mean hyunda used to be one of the worst for reliability and the latest ISQ (initial quality/reliability) report shows them in THIRD!!!! only behind Porsche & Lexus. yes, they are ahead of acura, honda, toyota, etc!!! amazing turn around story over the last decade for sure!!!!!

i just find FORD vehicles to be unattractive and cheap-feeling. even in their more expensive/classier vehicles, i find them to feel cheap compared to its competition. i have yet to find a ford that makes me say "wow, that's good value" or "wow, I have to get me one of those"

Yes, last year I tried to extend the Z4 season I got caught in the snow in mid November. Only 2 inches but it wasn't pretty. It took 2.5 hours to travel 17 miles. There is a small hill 1/2 mile from home, took me 30 minutes from there. I vowed not to let that happen again. I'll be good and ready next spring!

to tell u the truth, i kinda got stuck too, i store the car about 20 mins away from home. it snowed and i had to wait for the snow to melt enough before i drove it over. i believe in the theory that the first snowfall always melts away and once again i was rite  drove it over to storage spot, ran it through the touchless wash and that's it for this season :driving:

It will be a very long winter... :( :( :( :(

well at least Gerber is earning his money this year ... $3mil+ last year to sit on the bench while Razor made $0.9 mil to carry the load ... now we have about $6mil worth of goalies, but can't argue w/ what the Sens are doing, they are in first right?
