Z4-forum weekender: Applecross/Scotland - 18-20th May 2012!

Some absolutely cracking photos here guys. Not long in from work. Need to have a bite to eat then do some for - following that I'll start sifting through mine.

Does anyone else here have the post-meet blues? I've been walking around work today with a face like a smacked arse. Unfortunately my sunburn has also made it the same colour as a smacked arse....

Anyway, any ideas for the next overnighter? I've started looking already...

Try the missed meet blues :x

+1. :( I did get to see the mighty Hammers win at Wembley on the Saturday though. :D

Looks like you had an absolute corker guys. Stunning pics! Don't the MX5s look dull around the variety of Zeds on show?! Clearly not the sort of owners to modify.

See everyone's been hard at work today then and in no way fannying around with photos and sneaking on the forum to keep the banter going

Mick's promised me his pics tonight and I'll post anything that's not already been covered, I still haven't seen a pic of me, the recovery driver, my car and his truck and my so maybe it's gone unrecorded for posterity, phew!

I'm off this week at my Mum and Dad's, been herding sheep manually today instead of with the Z4.

I don't think we have any hard-hearted paparazzi hoping to profit from your misfortune either :).

No need to modify when you get the basic ingredients right.
It's a fun car to drive; and be honest, how often can you use all of your 265 bhp? :poke:

I have a few more from Saturday and Sunday to go through - will post them once I've been through them.

OK - just getting round to loading some pics -way too busy with work today, trying to keep the economy going - judging by the activity on this thread I think I was on my own with that today !

Another fabulous meet with wonderful driving, friends old & new and memories to savour. Here's a few non duplicate shots for now. . .

Bore off Malcy! :D

MX5s are definitely nice to drive but I could fall asleep just looking at one...

That sums up MX5s for me: I'm sure they're great to drive but they're just not a patch on the Z4 for looks. Same with the Boxster too for that matter.

Finally got round to washing all the dirt off the car. Two buckets? Yes please.

Great photos JP and Jax

You will all be glad to hear that I have finally lost my voice due to my severe man-flu and suspected hernia, I also have about a million midge bites :( Not good on my first day back to work.
Did anyone else suffer the scurge of midge bites ??

Sorry to hear that Nosa. They must have loved your Fifer blood because ive not got a single bite.

Want me to send you a patient info leaflet on hernias? :poke:

No thanks you and Kirsty and Jo all had your chance to check me over but it appears that even if you know people who work in the NHS they still don't care. You'll all be sorry when I die (or not) :P

No midge bites here, don't think I've lost my acquired immunity, but my sunburn is still peeling! Few extra photos from me:

I saw that bunch of Mazda CX-5s including MM11 SKY on the Ullapool road on Sunday too, 5 of them nose to tail through Garve - anyone work out what they were doing?
