Sorry to all- especially Craig and John, but as those who have seen my Facebook page I won't be taking the car anywhere this week end! Flooded in and car abandoned miles away!
If it subsides I'll try to get up Sunday. Gutted :cry:

With the amount of rain we've had I think all of us "camping" might be at the waters edge.

If it's p*ssing it down in the late evening you can have my spot :wink: ....... cos with my fair weather tent I ain't getting no sleep there if it does...
I'll probably be in a shop doorway somewhere, nestling amoungst kebab boxes in a futile attempt to create a bit of comfort for a few hours dry sleep :cry:

Still, it'll be worth it I'm sure, :driving: and it may mean that I'm surrounded by bits of breakfast opportunities for a handy start :thumbsup:
 
You can have my camping spot. I'm heading across in the morning but won't be camping now as got to be back for a family party. :thumbsup:

Morning everyone forecast aint bad :wink: and there's no rain at the moment in the north of cumbria
Just going to check my tyre pressures then have a leisurely hoon through the lakes too crooklends in about an hours time

Morning! Got the biscuits packed for the biscuit group :). Time for a coffee then the Guiseleys will be heading off to join you all too. Every time I look at the forecast it gets better. There's even a chance of no rain at all today.
 
Morning everyone, sun is shining here in Blackpool too!!! 8) setting off in half an hour :driving:

Current forecast looking good, just the chance of a shower today.

Don't know - haven't known you long enough!! Maybe this is more normal than normal???

For those who want to fill up beforehand there is a Shell V-Power garage in Kendal (postcode LA9 7EG) - 5 miles from Crooklands Hotel.
 
I've just topped up with Taxaco 97, just a short drive from the campsite if anyone misses the shell garage on the way in.
