I stayed an extra day last year at Windermere, coming home on the Monday afternoon.. Saved the mad dash back to London on Sunday Evening.
May do the same this year or stay at the campsite for an extra night.

AS PER TITLE,Info for this years National meet,in the Lakes/Dales.

MEETPOINT is Crooklands Hotel Carpark,Kendal,LA7 7NW

The weekend consists of a Drive on the SATURDAY,around the Lakes,and leaves from the meet-point(Crooklands Hotel Carpark),at around 10a.m,with a short mid morning stop/toilet break,and lunch stop,finishing up back at the starting point,around 4-5pm....

On The SUNDAY we have a Drive that takes in routes in the Dales area,with designated breaks,as before.
These Drives take in some Excellent driving roads,with a mix of a and b roads/country routes,thanks to Sammyz and his superb route-planning :D :driving:
As said below,we usually have a BBQ on the Saturday nt,which we all chip in aprox £6 each for (buy ur own drinks),and Camping is a modest £8-12 PP/PER NT**,and some ppl stay in nearby Hotels or B & Bs.For those there on the Friday nt,we can go grab dinner at the Crooklands,as last yr,if everyone wants to,again.

**Costs for CAMPING are as follows: 1man/2man tent,Single person Occupancy are £12 per Night.....2/3/4man tent with 2 persons Occupancy is £14.50 per nt(making a very modest cost of £7.25 per person)..so it pays to share,for anyone coming with someone...which help make sure we are all on 1 site/rather than 2ppl travelling together and both bringing huge4/5/6man tents,lol :rofl:
N.B;the above prices are a discounted rate,albeit by 1or2 £s...tried to get more ,but didnt want to push it,given i had sweet-talked them into giving us at least 12 spaces,rather than 5or6 :)

Each year we have a good weekend of driving,a good laugh,and a chance to catchup with fellow z4-forum guys/gals...so what u waiting for..get ur name down,lol

Didn't work for Redzedfour when he waited for us on that roundabout in Great Broughton. His car is bright enough, how could we all miss it? (I think he hid). Anyway showed the merit of exchanging phone numbers for this meet. I'm up for the biscuit group too :grin:

I'm a newbie to the forum having had my Z4 for about 6 months now. Love the site and just found this thread and hope to see you over the weekend at Crooklands.

I live at Newby bridge which is about 15 minutes from Kendal (depending on how you drive :roll: ) and, if the camping facilities at Crooklands are full there is a campsite nearby. There are also hotels and B&B's there too so.... if anyone is interested give me a bell and I can guide you.

Hope to see you at the BBQ guys

I think thats probably about right,Bradders,seeing as we had that amount of no-shows last year
As Sammyz would prob agree,it will need to be 2 groups if all 35-plus cars turn up. which is fine,as we will have designated leaders and back-markers for each group,so shouldnt get any1 lost...unless jared runs away and leaves tazx behind,lol :rofl:
(taz was probably too busy doing "burnouts/donuts",haha)

Let me/us know if u will be a definite ,and on which day/days you will be there,so we arent waiting for any1 who oisnt going to show,Assuming u will be on one of the drives too,cheers :thumbsup:
