ANYWAY...ON ANOTHER NOTE....As per last year,we are having a Charity raffle draw,where i/we will be selling tickets.Tickets are slightly more than last year...but,given we had 5 prizes in 2011,with a TOTAL VALUE OF APROX.£270,and 12 prizes/or more?/this year,and
THIS YEARS PRIZES HAVE A TOTAL VALUE OF APROX.£500;
PRICES FOR THE RAFFLE TICKETS ARE AS FOLLOWS........

£10 FOR 10 TICKETS.
You can buy as many tickets as u want,but please bear in mind,and in the intersets of FAIRNESS,etc(and to avoid the hassle of posting things out to people).....that the tickets will keep on being drawn until ALL PRIZES are won BY Those still present at the draw.

I am determined to get a BMW SPORT(stubby) arial and something else along with it/though the Bmw dealer i have approached for this(in England,btw/before u hit me with the tight-fisted Scots comments,lol),are being a little less than forthcoming at present.
If they dont produce the goods,then i will be trying elsewhere for them
Just hope we can raise around £200 this time

Just had confirmation that I won’t be working the weekend of the meet, although SWMBO is away I thought I would see if I could book something. Turns out I can get in to Crooklands on the Friday and Saturday. So I will be making my 1st National meet. Looking forward to seeing you all there

AS PER TITLE,Info for this years National meet,in the Lakes/Dales.
MEETPOINT is Crooklands Hotel Carpark,Kendal,LA7 7NW
The weekend consists of a Drive on the SATURDAY,around the Lakes,and leaves from the meet-point(Crooklands Hotel Carpark),at around 10a.m,with a short mid morning stop/toilet break,and lunch stop,finishing up back at the starting point,around 4-5pm....
On The SUNDAY we have a Drive that takes in routes in the Dales area,with designated breaks,as before.
These Drives take in some Excellent driving roads,with a mix of a and b roads/country routes,thanks to Sammyz and his superb route-planning
As said below,we usually have a BBQ on the Saturday nt,which we all chip in aprox £6 each for (buy ur own drinks),and Camping is a modest £8-12 PP/PER NT**,and some ppl stay in nearby Hotels or B & Bs.For those there on the Friday nt,we can go grab dinner at the Crooklands,as last yr,if everyone wants to,again.
**Costs for CAMPING are as follows: 1man/2man tent,Single person Occupancy are £12 per Night.....2/3/4man tent with 2 persons Occupancy is £14.50 per nt(making a very modest cost of £7.25 per person)..so it pays to share,for anyone coming with someone...which help make sure we are all on 1 site/rather than 2ppl travelling together and both bringing huge4/5/6man tents,lol
N.B;the above prices are a discounted rate,albeit by 1or2 £s...tried to get more ,but didnt want to push it,given i had sweet-talked them into giving us at least 12 spaces,rather than 5or6
Each year we have a good weekend of driving,a good laugh,and a chance to catchup with fellow z4-forum guys/gals...so what u waiting for..get ur name down,lol

but if u want to camp,book into Little Acres campsite,which is right across the road. We have used the little acres site before as well,and its also nice.
