UPDATE.....The dates are a definite,as stated.
After looking into a few other campsites,we decided that any alternative site,where we could get around 10-12 (or more)spaces,didnt offer the combination of Location/easy access off motorways,and good starting points for the drives,plus BBQ/Pub facilities,Large/decent carpark for meetpoint,and a decent hotel nearby...so we have stuck with the same sites as before.
.............in 2010 we had only 5 staying at W/edge,and 4 at L/acres(across the road),in 2011 we had booked 15 spaces between the 2 sites,and only 9 of these were used
THE GOOD NEWS IS, i have managed to persuade the Waters Edge/where we bbq/to allow us 12 spaces,possibly more(they officially have only 6),so we can all be on the 1 site
(Although our cars will need to be parked in the carpark this year,as oppose to on the Grass area,as a result)
I will be taking DEPOSITS for the spaces in the very near future,once i have finalised prices,etc with the Waters Edge...so please don't confuse the issue by trying to book the Campsite yourselves,thanks. lol.
If,in the event all spaces are taken/all deposits are paid,and we still need more spaces than the W/Edge can handle,then we can sort that out,if need be(unlikely,given the amount of ppl who had said they will be camping last year,then didnt show :x ).
As per last year,myself and Sammyz are looking into having a wee raffle,with some donated/bought prizes,and hopefully some (smaller)"fun"prizes,as voted by a show of hands at the bbq,and hopefully another magazine article;tho this time possibly a main stream/off the shelf mag as well(tbc).
Money raised from the Raffle will again go to Charity..we raised £150 last year.
