Z4-FORUM NATIONAL MEET,LAKES/DALES,JULY 2012

On another note,i have now sent off a chq. for Camping Deposits (£10 PER TENT),£120 for 12 spaces,PROVISIONALLY..THOUGH MORE MAY BE ABLE TO BE ADDED, IF NEED BE.

There are only 3 SPACES left at present,so anyone wanting to Camp,and who hasnt paid me a deposit,can u please do so,Thanks :D
 
I would be signed up for this but me & Pete keep getting the runaround on my shocks/springs. It's looking like all will be well come mid May, but I don't want to commit to anything just in case.
 
I am up for this Saturday drive only as I will head back across theA66 to my own bed on the night


May get Mrs cjp2k in the passenger seat but I doubt it

Craig will PM you. I'll be travelling down Friday, but the first page has me down for Sat & Sun. Just checking that won't cause any issues with the campsite :)

Yeah he's got me down the same as you. I'm like you, travelling down on the Fri. I asked Craig to change mine a few weeks back. I'll PM him another reminder.

Gonna be using the Applecross meet as a dry run for this one, in terms of tent and equipment etc.

As Mrs Adamski cant make this one, I'll be bringing a mate of mine from Halifax, who I'll pick up on the way down :thumbsup:

Have seen the pics from last year, looks like a great meet :)

Na, Applecross is the dry run to check I squeeze all the camping gear in the zed. Will be taking my mate from Halifax to the Lakes meet, picking him up on the way :thumbsup:

I got what Adamski was saying, but Halifax is a lot further south than the meet... You know it's not 'on the way', right ? Shame Mrs A isn't coming :(

EDIT - planning a hoon through the Dales to the meet ?
 
Was going to travel A92, A68, A1 then across to Hipperholme, which is just outside of Halifax, then up the A65.... the scenic route, and is mostly avoiding motorways :)

So, yeah, doing pre meet hoon... especially as my mate hasnt been out in the zed yet

Oh very well done - the A68 was on my panned route home in Feb until it snowed. I am now very jealous, most of my journey will be motorway :roll:
 
Its quite a bit shorter going to Hipperholme that way as well. I've taken a few different routes to Hipperholme before. For the fastest journey, the M6/M62 route is best, but is 340 miles (ish) from where I stay. It's only 280 miles (ish) doing the A92, A68 route.... and the roads are nicer Just have to watch out for caravans and campervans :headbang:
 
its a shame i am not doing all 3 days, i could have picked him up, its only a few miles from me
 
Booked my hotel from the friday till monday morning - let's hope the weather will be good!

Its the girlfriends birthday on the Saturday, will need a to explain to her why we 'may' bump into 20+ other z4's on the saturday and Sunday.

It's Mrs Bing's on the Friday... I think we will probably say 'hi' to anyone who is around before/after checking in and then go out for a meal somewhere to lessen the blow of sharing her happy day with the M6 and a bunch of Z4 drivers :D

Have been meaning to ask, can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in the locale, but perhaps another village / town within taxi distance ?
