Depending on dates/holidays,I should be okay to help....looking at the map I could take it from dumfries dik at some agreed point,and pass onto nictrix in Paisley

It sounds like mini plans are coming together in local areas.
I need to start thinking about getting him dressed, suitcase packed and ready for dispatch soon !
 
Members on the fringes but hard to believe no members actually within the Pennines , Lakes & Dales areas :? I'm happy to take the bear through Ribble / Bowland up to Jubilee Tower (Abbeystead nr Lancaster ) if any member wants to meet up there & take it further north :driving:

Looking on the map, Jubilee Tower is about 50 mile from me.
I'm prepared to come and and get him and take him back to the Furness peninsula - can't have the North West letting the side down :)
(on hols early June though)

I see Seasurfer has added themselves to the map local to me, if it's not presumptuous, maybe they can get Zedward up to Metal Licker (or swap with me)

Just added a marker on Stansted - happy to pop into the airport (I get a discount on parking as a local), maybe a cheeky trip to Finchingfield...I could then pass Zedbear on to Smartbear in Chelmsford maybe?

For those not following the other threads, The Poll finished and the vote was that we fund raise for Lauren Holding, a 14 year old girl in Surrey, who needs an Opp to fit a Gastric Pacemaker, which will alow her to eat and drink more normally, rather than being tube fed. She needs about £30k all in, but is trying to raise £15k of that through charity appeals. She is currently about £5k short, so I'm sure we can all help.

I have today made Contact with Lauren Holding's mum and she is happy for us to fund raise for Lauren and use Lauren's details for our appeal.

I now just need to set up a "Just Giving" page for Zedward, get his shirt printed and he'll be away within a week or two, I hope. :driving:

Pete/taz,can you please add me to the map,my tablet etc seem unable to allow me for some odd reason.

I can take it from Dumfries dik at some agreed point(halfway between us),and pass onto nictrix halfway between me and Paisley?

Yep, thanks All who've donated today. :thumbsup:

He will be released properly next weekend (or possibly before) as soon as we have amended his top to short sleeves, as he only has short arms !

I will probably send him over to Spikey, Danstarr & 2Dogs (Bath, Nailsea & Weston-S-Mare) which will get him heading up the Somerset Coast and then over the bridge into Wales and onwards, clockwise/North toward Scotland.

I'll speak with Taz and we'll start a specific for his travels and donations.
