Anyone called Sopers to findcout what main dealer new price is ? - I phoned About a new centre console for an Alpina( one I was looking at was badly scuffed) and was quoted 400 for the centre console from Alpina .
I enquired when I bought the car 4 years ago, and the total price for all bits was around £1200+fitting.

My mate has carbon (proper stuff) in his CSL and the lacquer is always scratching, and it looks/feels/sounds like cheap plastic (it isn't).

TBH I have the Carbon trim and it is nice but a bit dull. If it were proper CF like the newer ones in the E90/2 then would be a lot nicer.

You could always install it and just put the isofix cap in it without it being installed.

I would rather have piano black than shiny carbon fibre trim - I like the carbon fibre because it is a matt finish but it might be because the rest of the interior is not ebony .

I looked into a Carbon Leather retrim when I had the 3.0 and it would have ended up being expensive as you have got to buy the whole hide .

When I sold mine I phoned them, it was about £1,050 for all three bits.

Gotta love that Alpina tax....

Tapatalking...

2dogs will be smiling as he paid a lot less than that when I sold mine to him, and I got double what I paid. I'll let you do the maths

Still on £470 with half hour to go. I wonder if there will be a last minute surge in bids

I wonder if these are going for more just because they are effectively new as they came straight off when the guy bought it new in 2006

TBH I would say no, they are like hens teeth to find and very desirable.

£505 though?! That's a bit much if you ask me.

It is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. It passed my limit a while back, it was on my list as a would really like item, but not at that price :(

Indeed they are worth what someone is prepared to pay, however I still think it's an awful lot of money for 3 trim pieces! I understand that they are double that from BMW, but let's be honest, that is a pie in the sky price!

Like you the price passed my limit a while back. I thought it was a pretty generous limit, how naive was I

Personally I think the Alu trim and wood trim in ///M's is a turn off for a lot of buyers. I wouldn't be surprised if the CL trim easily recouped £500 in the selling price of an ///M

Although desirable the cl trim won't clinch a sale of an m...

Neither will it bump the price up.

However buying an m with cl and selling the cl separately will save you 500 quid as we have seen above.

Madness.

I prefer aluminum.
