not mine, just came across it.

oh and that's my max bid if anyone wants to offer any more. i won't be going any higher.

phew, someone bid more than me. a bit of the red mist descended  i also felt like bumping the guys price up from a lowly £51.00

still cheap mind you, for something that rarely comes up for sale.

why not? it gives others the chance to bid on it and they could've missed it.

someone posted up about facelift lights cheap last week, which i bought, so i thought i'd return the favour.

ebay isn't secret you know.

seems very expensive

Anything under £350 is not expensive, its what i sold mine for and could have done ten times over. Dont forget the cost new is over a grand.

Been watching this s well since the first day it was advertised. Now its been made public it will be interesting to see what silly money it goes finally goes for.

A year ago I would have been bidding strongly for this, but I've come to like the piano black, and it's much better for sticking the TomTom to than carbon leather.

Just a quick question...
If this is from a car bought new in Oct 2006 (and obviously built before that), then why is there a cut-out for the airbag deactivation light (as well as the sport button), as I thought it only came on 2007+ build cars. Was it an optional extra on the earlier cars?

If you know the feeling don't f--king advertise this

Complete over-reaction.

This is a forum, it's posting of links/ adverts like this that help others out.

I'm sure the new owner of the Sepang Bronze ///MC (with wood trim) that was up for sale a few weeks ago will be very interested in this auction.

I think there was a discussion about how less-desirable trims affect a car's value and £500 was thrown around.

If you have an ///M with wood trim £400 for the CL could be a decent deal?

Not over reacting

We all know about eBay and we all try to find bargains. Ben G has bid on item then advertised it on here, thus all he has achieved is to push the price through the roof.

Don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out that was a stupid move.

I'm fine about people using the for sale area to post wanted items and people sending a link from eBay.

Most of us spend hours check ebay, piston heads, gumtree, auto trader etc to find parts so we don't need people posting on forum so prices escalate, unless its there item they are sell.

If people can't be bothered to look for these we shouldn't post links for them.

Personally if I was bidding on an item I wouldn't post the link.

That said if I saw an interesting item, I would post the link, it might help somebody else who is looking for similar but missed that particular advert.

I would be frustrated in your position but I wouldn't start spewing expletives. If you don't get the dash, it means somebody wanted it more than you, that's it.

I wouldn't have thought posting a link would change the price significantly. i.e you would never get your hands on the CL dash for <£200. As stated eBay isn't a secret and this advert hasn't been listed incorrectly.

Personally I think posting links to adverts helps this forum become a more useful place.

he's just upset because he thought he was secretly bidding on an item that wasn't available to the general public, when infact it is.

if you check the guys Q&A's at the bottom, it seems he's already had a large amount of interest, and the fact there was 51 watchers on the item way before i even posted the link up tells you that it wasn't going for cheap.

probably got spoiled as a kid and wanted to have this all for himself aswell.

and btw, i found that item by typing in 'Z4M' and it came up about the 20th item down, so i highly doubt you were searching for hours.

I can understand both sides of the argument

I guess until your in the position where you want to buy something on ebay, then its posted on here meaning people who dont normally check ebay are alerted to it - in turn potentially driving up the sale price
