Z4 age group?

I was 25 when I bought my ///M in 2009, I'm 25 now and I expect to remain so for many years to come :D

You're only too old if you can't get in or out of a Z.

Sarky comments about 'hairdressers car', mid-life crisis, & what did you get that for? are just manifestations of their jealous streak!

56 going on 18

25 ... Absolutely love it. Old man's car ... That has two meanings to me , a rover with arm chairs for seats or more likely a car too nice for young scally wags like us. I'll take the second ;-)

I turned 22 in january, with a 3.0i z4...... got it at the end of january and i love it!

My mates try to take the mick while driving their clios, corsa's etc still. makes me laugh though

I pay 840 for my insurance which is only 200 more than my 1.0 corsa.... stupid eh?

30 and had my Zed for a year an a half.

Most I see driving them are about my age... The e89 models do seem to attract more mature ladies though. :P - This is just my personal observation and experience.

I am 66 in April and don't have any difficulty getting in and out of my Z4 but I regard myself as fit for my age whereas they are many overweight lard arses walking around in their 20's who clearly don't exercise and would have extreme difficulty getting behind the wheel.

I'm 20. It's definitely not an old mans car. I have to laugh at my old man when he rolls in and out of it haha :D I think z4's are very sophisticated. 8)

I'm 48 but still do extreme activities and I am as fit as I can be for my age. Broken plenty of bones but still come back for more. Life is for living and a yellow Z4 suits me. The thing about a Z4 is that any age, class or sex doesn't look out of place. It's a car for everyone.

Tell us how you feel :fuelfire:
Looks like the group is divided demographically between 20 somethings and those alive during The Summer of Love.
Not surprising that the child rearing group is mostly vacant.

Not to fixate on how many Summer of Lovers can still get into and out of "it" ...
The question that has to be asked is if you handle the ergonomics with "grace" ...
Like if you have to roll out of the seat onto the ground and then pretend you were looking for some small change. and not having some sort of seizure or a full body cramp..
Well I say thats all good!

As far as those who are midriff challenged ...
I learned on a Bugeyed Sprite (AH Frog Eye over your way) and in those days when I was an athlete (?), the best way to slip behind the steering wheel was to stand on the seat and slide in.
Not a problem with the roof, seeing as that accessory was long gone and replaced with what we called a tonneau cover.
I wonder why tonneau covers have largely disappeared ?

I still consider that the best way for a roadster.
Top down ..slide down the seat with a plop into driving position !
Luckily I have the auto top down feature...

just sayin'
Bumpy

For you youngins ... Midlife Crisis is a fallacy perpetrated by jealous youngsters ..

Plate means "Treat Yourself"

As per other threads over the years on this subject, there is a wide range of ages of z4 owners..and plenty enough in the child rearing agegroup too,lol (if i remember correctly from older threads.

I am 39,but owned my 1st z4 when i was 33 :D :driving:
