Another clue is that Sport models had a black headlining and I doubt anyone buying an SE would have chosen that as an option!

I did not know that the black headlining was standard on the sport. IMO the black headliner really makes the interior, I can't imagine it with the lighter ones!

Unusual maybe but I spec’d my SE with most sport options. Preferred at the time the softer suspension, thinner steering wheel and different wheel options.

To be honest that would probably be my ideal spec too.

Yeah sometimes they dont take the ad down straight away. Dealer was on email to me saying its sold, but who knows.

Car looks lovely but as others have said it is strong money, be interesting to see how long it takes to sell..

£17k for a 67k Sport. That’s mental.
My thoughts too.

How much? :o

Car prices will slowly come down, and bikes and vans we just need some normality and the new cars vans bikes etc to start been available again as they have dried up so secondhand market has been extremely strong and it went strong quick it won’t go back down as quick but it will subside generally although always be certain things that will appreciate

Is it me or is the Coupe market starting to soften again?

I think you make a valid point, the market surely looks like its slowly starting to balance, the over inflated prices of second hand cars of recent times are starting to feel the pinch of current market forces and will continue to balance in my opinion for the next few months. Inflation, interest rates, and the overall uncertainty of the cost of living is forcing many to re-think their priorities.
For me personally, I'm getting the itchy trigger fingers on some stunning coupe's. I think I'll end up buying one sooner rather than later, its far to greater temptation than a kebab after a night out
