Thought I recognised this forum car. Jamie’s old coupe I believe

Looks great in red, strong money though. It’s been for sale a while I believe

Yeah I only noticed it as was looking on eBay. I’d have considered this one if it was 2k less

What do others feel about the after market lights?

What’s peoples opinion of the current market at the moment? I’ve seen many hanging around for a while online (mine has been online since may)

The market is slowing down / dropping on them 100% I am looking to buy one and many have been for sale for a long long time but they are also over priced. I think the prices will be back to pre covid before long.

This looks a nice ish example if the price was a little lower. But it’s not a bad dealer price.

I'd have to agree with you hopz, I think due to the current economic climate, and cost of living crisis and the war, prices have fallen, and will continue to stabilize until the market shows signs of a planned recovery. The one advertised on ebay would've looked a steal a few months ago, but now just looks like, what will be the market average for the next few months. It's definitely becoming a buyer's market for the time being at least.

Which is quite helpful when you are a buyer looking out for one haha. If the right one at the right prices comes up
I’ll go for it, too many people asking top money for cars which need quite a bit of work now or in the near future.

Best of luck to you Hopz. I wish you all the best in finding the right one.

Cheers Special Kay, I miss my old one, they are cracking cars, it’s just something about the styling and the whole package really

Something doesn't quite ring true with this one......

At it's first MOT in 2010 i.e at 4 years old it was only showing 370 miles?!! Then between 2016 -2017 it did a whopping 30k miles?!!

Something doesn't quite add up......

Haven’t really looked into it in that much detail as it’s well over my budget unfortunately. I only start digging if I am interested and 9/10 I always find something.

Can anyone help value my E86 please? It was built on the last day of production with nigh on every extra apart from sat nav, registered April '09 and covered 64k, I've owned it since May 2018. Only mods are 19" CSL reps I bought off a forum member which I have had powdercoated 3 months ago in shadow chrome, zunsport lower grille and a ZHP

An 08 auto with similar spec list and mileage was advertised on here this morning for £12k which seems a very fair price, although prices are softening at the moment and I am not sure whether much is selling. The production date may have been be a factor if this was a super-low mileage “investment” car, but probably not at 65k. Sounds like a great car, though, Good luck if you decide to sell.

These don't come up for sale very often over here (Ireland), but this is where the market thinks prices are at the moment:

https://www.carsireland.ie/3124263

(In case link doesnt work, it's an 06 Coupe, 157,599km, Sport, with heated electric seats, cruise, and Sat Nav - €19,950)

Word has it another coupe (albeit a lower mileage example) sold for in the region of €25k not too long ago as well.

The example above has been available for ~2 weeks now, whereas the €25k one was gone within a few days. It'll be interesting to see how long this hangs around for.

Yes that's my coupe, I actually still own it just selling it through the garage my dad works at, if it helps it was priced high through the recommendation of the garage to avoid tyre kickers but someone offered 10k, I accepted and they never came back :tumbleweed: offers on this are definitely welcome!

I like the extra touches you’ve done to it as followed your threads from a while back. MOT history looks mint aswell. I’m currently in the process of sending a Z4 coupe back to a dealer as it wasn’t as described and should never have been given an MOT last month. If this is still available when I get my money back I’ll probs have a trip up as I have family up in Stirling anyway.

Nice one mate, I absolutely loved it come MOT time as it always sailed through! I'm sad to be selling as originally bought it to keep, but have a young family now so traded a two seater coupe for a Volvo V90  Sorry to hear about the other coupe too, nothing worse than getting a car when the garage is trying to hide faults!

Newbie here actively looking for an E86.
Doddsy, sorry to hear about you issues with your coupe, I realise you might not want to detail the issues on the forum but should I avoid ones in Hinckley?

Good luck with finding a Coupe

My last Z4 wasn’t worth half what I paid. Maybe it should have been called the Lotus Z4 (Lots of trouble usually serious)

Wow I haven't heard that Lotus gag in decades, always brings a smile to my face and tears to my mate who had an esprit
