Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

£6.5k with decent alloys and aero skirts (which if you sold means car is £5.5k)

Those alloys aren't OE E86 ones for anyone who might be interested in that car.

They look exactly the same as the E89 295s I had on my 2nd Coupe, but 19" style 230s from E90s have the same look too.

I liked the fact that they were just a bit different!

Lots to entertain with this one  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stunning-E86-Bmw-Z4-Coupe-3-0si-Sport-Manual-66k-FSH-PX-SWAP-WHY/264931328216?hash=item3daf2340d8:g:Y7QAAOSwh-RfqSQn

😂😂😂😂 am I reading this right? £1500 to replace what I can only assume is the £25 valvetronic motor gasket? Holy heck some people shouldn’t be allowed access to the internet

Lots of lovely misinformation here too... ahh, I love a clueless dealership :headbang: :D

Well that was even more entertaining!

There's a good reason why that combination of colours and trim is rare.

I'm not sure how the trader thinks it is worth virtually MC money. :?

That car has been on the market at the same price since at least July. The green colour and wood trim say “Rover 800” to me.

I got a specialist to quote me for the Valvetronic Shaft Sensor Gasket, Eccentric Shaft Actuator Seal, Valve Cover screws, Valve Cover Gasket, Oil Cap and an Oil Filler Cap Seal and it was £280 all in with 2 hours of labour at £75 plus vat.

I want to be his/her's mechanic.

The colour of the seats and door panels though...

I really like the green one, I just think the wood trim ruins it.
It might just be the poor interior photos that make it look bad.

But I like the green and cinnamon leather.

This is the same combo photographed better....

To be fair, that’s a very cheap price! All of that in only 2 hours is good going! .... then again I’m no mechanic, so maybe they’d be quicker than me😂 I would’ve thought 3/4 hours all in would’ve been fair. Still, good news for your wallet!

[ref]24057[/ref],

I would say I took about 2.5 hours but I was fannying around fully cleaning the whole engine cover, engine bay and drinking tea and I had never done one before. the likes of the Valvetronic Shaft Sensor Gasket and the Eccentric Shaft Actuator Seal are 5 minute jobbies.

Spotted this on auto trader yesterday - one of two (colour and interior) in the UK if my research and assumptions are right...£15k though?

See this has finally sold.

Wow, that’s a beautiful car but a lot of money. Interestly Autotrader rated it as a “fair” price.
