Interesting that there is no e85 in the up to 2, 5 and 10k section.
I guess the article is about sports cars.

I can see it being an above market price, but not £15k. Since COVID, the supply of used cars to the market seems to have decreased and prices have crept up with them. These are list prices though, not sure on what the sales prices are!

See my earlier post of 3rd Oct. This car would be the most expensive on the list and therefore possibly the most expensive non-M on the market. There are lower mileage, one or two owner, cars on the market for less. Also, I suspect that “it has only ever been serviced at the BMW main dealer in accordance with it's low mileage” means it’s only had 3 services in 13 years. I could be wrong, and I have no problem at all with Coupe values going up, but this looks to be significantly overpriced.

Same car on my list above previously for sale at £7,777 (that was in August). Just goes to prove prices are going up!

RE current values / i actually think the upward trend of the past 4-5 months has now peaked & prices will slide now for the forseeable future

This car has to represent terrific value for money. What's not to like?, nothing. Lets face it, in the overall scheme of things 15k is not a lot of money. We will go against the grain here and say this car will find the next long term keeper promptly., with one qualification, must be a lover of red!

Whether £15k is a lot of money is neither here nor there - whether it is over or under priced is the consideration. Might just be a regional thing, but most people don't like being mugged off.
Benderloch said:I sent a message to the company selling this 15k coupe to ask for details of the service history. I was astonishing when they refused and said the only way I could see the service history was to visit them. Under the current circumstances surely we should all be doing as much as possible to reduce the need for traveling.
