Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

At 4K it was cheap or well priced as it was great condition and had most options but it wasn’t a quick sale but people can judge from a distance that a 4 k coupe with 160,000 miles is a bit rough but it was far from it and anyone who viewed and drove it would have been impressed it was just timing so was a great buy

Anyway I’m close to another coupe now just taking some getting over the line

Hey gentlemen, new bee here from USA. I have seen some posts on this site about various books and links to them. Was wondering if anyone might know if there is a link to a service book for an 07 Z4 3.0si.

Wow your prices are very cheap over there. Here in the US I had to pay $13k for a 08 3.0si coupe with 86,000 miles. That's about normal...if you can even find one.

I sold my 56plats 3.0si last year - it was on 103k, well looked after and some choice bits like bilstein b12s and a quaife diff, as well as an M front bumper. It was however also a Cat D. I got just shy of £7k for it - French chap paid the full asking price without seeing it, caught a ferry to Portsmouth where I met him, he took it on a weekend trip to Wiltshire with his gf and then went back to France - emailed me several times after to say how much he loves it and sent me pics etc.

Appreciate the landscape may have changed a bit, but christ it can't be as bad as 4-5k for a good coupe - short of the seller either hiding something or just needing the money for it quickly.!

If anyones after a LOW mileage Z4 - https://online.handh.co.uk/m/lot-details/index/catalog/127/lot/46184/?url=%2Fm%2Fview-auctions%2Fcatalog%2Fid%2F127%2F

Oh yeah, looked again with my glasses on this time!

Not sure how I spotted it. Picking up my first pair of glasses this weekend

Glad someone spotted it anyway, but I might have noticed as I had an eye test this afternoon.

But for an 89K mile SE that estimate is ambitious at best!

you did do well I have a cat d Audi TT Quattro sport not one person has looked at it yes Europeans are the most likely buyers as cat d does not follow the car to Europe so they pay higher price

I actually had 4 people trying to get down and see it - the French chap was the first with the 'cash on the bonnet' as it were  but yes I agree slightly - I was a little surprised it didn't hang about long! I think the 50k miles I put on the car over 4 1/2 years kinda went a bit of a way to prove it wasn't shiny, and the powerflex bilstein bits and quaife diff probably helped!

Clearly someone has been on the sherry  £14k for a 63k Si :o https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2008-57-BMW-Z4-3-0-SI-SPORT-2DR-MANUAL-COUPE-WARRANTIED-LOW-MILEAGE-FSH/323983546078?hash=item4b6eec96de:g:Ob0AAOSwU2Jd0aDa

It's been up for aaaaaages. Unsurprisingly.

It's got the green paint, caramel seats and wooden dash... which are different, but frankly an acquired taste. Think it's £5k overvalued!

That one sold at auction with BCA last year for Around £8k if I remember correctly, I had a bid but didn’t win. Nice low mileage example but maybe around for a while at £14,000

"An acquired taste"?

Aye if you don't have any taste. It's minging!

Buy it cheap, wrap it.
Remove the seats and burn them.
Remove he wood panelling and burn that too.

Replace the seats and the dash with something less hideous.

Bish Bash Bosch it's a good wee van for someone.

Now that's a low milage example in Stratus Grey: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202002097132261?atmobcid=soc3

On appearance though it doesn't look like it has been MOTd since 2015 and it's a shame about the spec...

Even at that mileage it looks dear to me for an Auto SE!

You're getting into M territory at that level - albeit they will have done plenty more miles.

And doing so few miles doesn't usually do a car any favours when seals dry out, rubber parts perish, etc.
