Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

Round trip today of over 300 miles to look at 2 cars.
First was a black SE with sport seats described by the seller as immaculate. His definition of the word and mine are completely different.Car was obviously in a frontal crash previously and drove accordingly.
Never mind I thought onto the next one a further 90 mins down the road.
Spoke to the dealer yesterday to tell him I would be there.
Arrived at the garage and the car was at the very back of the garage and not even washed.
Got the car out and had a drive as I travelled that far.
Car not for me.
The search continues.

[post]1395246[/post] I've been keeping an eye on it too, its been for sale for a while and i think it started off around £9500. I was tempted but I'm quite keen to find some gadgets!

To be honest it has most of the gadgets - other than heated seats and cruise, but cruise isn't too big a deal to retrofit.

From my searching experiences if you want one with everything you might have a long wait - and then when one turns up it will be the wrong colour, or have too many miles on it!

Hope you do find one you like though.

No, there probably isn't really. But I wouldn't want one! Plenty wrong with the price, though!

Dunno. I would pay it if I needed another Z4C, liked the seat colour, had wads of cash under the bed, and had lost the ability to check out the market for current prices. In the meantime I will just have to buy eight E39's instead.
Someone will buy it.

Corrected for you  :D
Was that an unsubtle attempt to de-whippy me ? :o

Not at all , i am a whippy fan  merely pointing out that a auto Si is a potent weapon & off the line i would take it against a manual Si or even a Z4M :o they just rev & go so quick that 99% of manual owners would never get close :driving:

In the current cold wet weather my auto tends to just sit on the line spinning it's wheels. Bring on the warm weather and dry roads 8)

This may be of interest here for someone.
Green sport with over 200k and what seems like a good history.

For anyone interested in this, please be aware of the headlights. The previous owner had taken out the factory xenon's and has fitted a set of aftermarket projector halogen units. Can't say it's the most professional job, the wiring looks unprofessional and the light control unit is still that of the xenons, meaning it has no manual tilt adjustment either. I found this out after 4 days ownership of the car, and returned it as the bill would have been £1500+ to put back the factory xenons - however I spotted it is back up for sale, at the price I paid for it. It also has a full set of rubbish budget tyres (Accelera PH1) - seems very much to me like the previous owner had run it on a budget.

On the positive side it has had the ABS Pump refurbished due to the common failure they suffer on a lot of Z4's. Also when I checked the fault history with INPA, it seems to have had the electric water pump replaced which is another positive with the N52 engine.

Thought I'd let anyone know, if on an off chance, they were to look at this and ended up very disappointed as I did.

The previous owner hit a fox in 2015 and it was a Cat C repair.

Is it me or does the tone of the listing leak BS and a certain 'attitude'?
