Hi Chris,

Nice looking car, but if you aren't too hung up on mileage this one is similar (even with the Piano Black trim and optional Multi-Function Steering Wheel option) - not sure if trim is Champagne or the standard Beige, but it is a fair bit cheaper!

That bonnet shutline looks a bit wide tho? Hmmmmm

I wouldn't let that deter anyone searching for a E85 / E86 :? you really need to stand before it to know for sure but i was discussing bonnet shut lines at a recent get together with stevo///m3 & a study of the 12/15 cars there that day revealed each one had varying margin,s of gap on all sides :?

I'm sure this will have had a nose job and will just need the fasteners loosened under the bonnet, then push the nose back in a bit.

Not a problem as you say Mr. Wilks.

If you can get over the odometer hurdle i can't see how you could go wrong , miles mean little other than deciding its value & the car could well be in better order & drive better than a car on 85k :?
Would always be a tough sell going forward but it could prove a great daily beater or weekender that looked superb wherever it went & with little ££ tied up by comparison to other E86s

My thoughts exactly.... would need to check usual bits and as long as the mechanicals have been looked after....although it says FBMWSH would be nice to see when the oils were changed..

True, I've not made it my business to check all bonnets but when you get a lot of us parked up together, 8 from 10 look a bit dodge. Not from bumps necessarily, just that Jim and Bob never gave it the proper attention from the factory at Spartanburg. Not much to be done about it - the car's lines make it difficult to line everything up with the way the light hits the surfaces. Did the same exercise with Marlon - similar results IIRC...

Yeah I'm not a walnut dash fan, I feel like I'd need a pipe and slippers too. But I don't think it looks as bad as on other cars.

How about this? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201609217972211

That's actually pretty nice, I do like that one

However if you're after a montego blue one with light interior, this one takes the biscuit for me: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-3-0si-2006-2-door-petrol-Sport-Coupe-excellent-condition-inside-and-out-/262769490710?hash=item3d2e483b16:g:rnkAAOSwXAJYWA2C

Nice red one from Synter and the two tone red and black leather seats and trim are stunning. Low milage, but a little high on the asking price I think. Give it a few weeks and it'll have £500 off for sure:

Sold! (I wanted to see that one too)

I saw this one about two months ago. It's a pretty tidy example with good service history.

I noticed it had gone...don't think it even stayed on there a week!

I've been to look at this one http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201701040993768?make=BMW&model=Z4&radius=1500&advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&body-type=Coupe&sort=price-asc&postcode=bs329dh&page=5 .

The Vin number ending LF68369 shows it came with pro nav, but definitely no nav or extra speakers in this car.

Wheels need refurb and a couple of parking dents, most visible one is on the passenger rear arch, could be tricky to remove.

Driver bolster is quite worn, but I just love the colour.

If the build spec matched the car I think a second viewing may have happened, as it is now I'm a bit put wary.

Love the colour, Would imagine it may be a hard resale but I would have that everytime. Looks a bit funny in the photos, As in a little lighter and saturated but pheonix yellow looks awesome in the flesh when its nice and shiny especially with some slightly darker silver/graphite coloured wheels.

As you can see it shows as pro nav, but there was no nav, just the basic business unit
