Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

This is a rather extreme example from Belgium: http://m.autoscout24.be/offre/-303087100?smid=be-vm-searchsubscription-offers-lang_fr&rtmsg=be-vm-searchsubscription&id=303087100&from=fr.autoscout24.be

27.000 Euro for a 41.000 km 2006 Coupe...

Ongelooflijk!
The dichotomy between E85/6 market value and asking prices in the UK is the reason, even though I currently live in Holland, the reason why I'm looking exclusively for a UK car.
Will register in UK and use/drive around Europe.

So, I'm now in the market for a Coupe.

:o after all that faffing with the hardtop?!
I may one day take this transition too... Only time will tell
Happy hunting!

I think this one has come down in price by £500?

Agreed I think that's a nice example. Good colour combo, ZHP gear knob, carbon engine cover and door sills. Doesn't sound like the dealer has much knowledge looking at the advert.

It does look nice & been discussed previously , with MachineMonkey exhaust tips so most likely a forum members car at some point

As you say Mr wilks maybe a forum car at some stage.
Does anybody have any further info on the car.
I ask because I am interested but I am in N Ireland so it's not easy for viewing.
It's a nice colour combo as well as reasonably priced compared to some.
Might give the dealer a ring.

Just a minor observation - it's Montego Blue, not Monaco. Monaco is a much darker, almost Navy blue and not as obviously metallic as Montego.

Nope. Intention is to keep the roadster and use that in Holland/Europe and trade in my 320d convertible for a coupe and keep that in the UK. My theory is that I can prob sell the 320d for what I'd pay for a decent coupe as it's got v low miles (25k) and the coupe would depreciate slower, or even maintain it's value as it won't be driven so much as the roadster as I'm based mostly in Holland atm.
There's method behind the madness

Ticks all the spec boxes I'm looking for. Slightly high miles than I'd prefer (108k) should I have any significant concerns with the N52 at that mileage?
Described as having a 'lovely' service history (?).

Hi Chris,

Nice looking car, but if you aren't too hung up on mileage this one is similar (even with the Piano Black trim and optional Multi-Function Steering Wheel option) - not sure if trim is Champagne or the standard Beige, but it is a fair bit cheaper!

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201608237047395?sort=price-asc&price-to=10000&model=Z4&advertising-location=at_cars&body-type=Coupe&make=BMW&transmission=Manual&radius=1500&postcode=gu470za&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&page=1

BTW I like your plan of Coupe in the UK and Roadster in the Netherlands!

Wow! Cheap as chips! Will be on the blower tomorrow.
That bonnet shutline looks a bit wide tho? Hmmmmm

Nice red one from Synter and the two tone red and black leather seats and trim are stunning. Low milage, but a little high on the asking price I think. Give it a few weeks and it'll have £500 off for sure:

That's a rare car in hell red & even more so with the bespoke 2 tone trim , also low miles but as expected with a main dealer its no bargain

If someone is looking for something a bit special I'd say thats about as good as it gets - that trim is the dogs! A cheeky bid at £13.2k might snag you it.

I wouldn't let that deter anyone searching for a E85 / E86 :? you really need to stand before it to know for sure but i was discussing bonnet shut lines at a recent get together with stevo///m3 & a study of the 12/15 cars there that day revealed each one had varying margin,s of gap on all sides :?

Tru dat. But that bein said, i'd prefer a tight shutline to one you could stick ur finger in!
Me roadsters' shutlines are unbelievably tight. So much so that it concerns me about paint rub etc.....
