Z4 3.0 build

Heyaa!

Thought i'd make a topic about my Z4 build since there isn't many of these in here. I never found a Z4 beautiful car but it kinda grew on me and one day i just had to have it. Anyways I looked for a wrecked car for a long time but couldn't find any. It had to have 3.0 non SI engine, sport seats and under 150tkm. Then I came across this OK equipped Z4 in germany that was in such an area that nobody of my friends couldn't go to see it. I had to buy it without seeing it, everything turned out perfect tho. The car was on very good condition, except the exterior has been messed up some amateur trying to polish it. Anyways I was going to paint it anyways so it wasn't such a big deal. Now on to the car.

BMW Z4 2004 3.0 manual with 142 tkm on the clock
Black sport seats
Hard top (sold)
H/K soundsystem
Automatic AC

Right away I swapped the M steering wheel and ZHP gear knob

I had the car in my yard for 1 day (!!!) until my neighbor reversed into it :D Well now it was the "damaged" car that I was looking for originally, i took the cash option from insurance and got a pretty good deal, they basicly paid for the new paint job. Here is a picture of the dent visible, also last wash before the car went to hibernate for the winter.

Yesterday I finally pulled myself together and went there to pop some parts off.

It will be completed in about 2 months, once done it will have these mods (all parts acquired)

-Z4M front bumper
-Z4M rear bumper
-Z4M style exhaust
-Aero side skirts
-Headlights with clears and black insides build from 2 sets of lights
-Facelift rear lights
-AP coilovers
-Custom made wheels from Iconz (designed by myself)
-Paint job of either Imola Red (no need to take out engine) or Atacama Yellow (engine bay has to be painted)
-Quife LSD
-Supercharger of some kind, haven't decided yet if I go for G-power or ESS

I'll keep the topic updated once I get some more work done. Also as a cherry on the top here is my last project

It was a perfect condition 335 without any dents or scratches when I started the project, also later on it had around 400hp and 600nm.

Thnx if you read this far! :=)

Out of interest, did the 335 plus mods cost less than buying an M3? No criticism implied, I'm genuinely interested

Yeah it was about 20000€ less, which is ~17000£. Mainly cause I do all the work myself and didn't use professionals for anything else then paint job.

Great work I love the DIY work. I am toying with the idea of a engine change in my zed one day. Once it's up to date with the current list of jobs. I am thinking //M 3 v8 :D it will all be DIY apart from the electrics.

Geeze ...
Wish I had a basement like that ...

Oh Yah ..Welcome
Can't wait to see the conclusion

Bumpy...
