Z4 2.0i M Sport Finance Deals

No deal ...

This is what I was offered... 10k for my car, offered me 2225 as part exchange allowance, wanted me to pay deposit of 3208, giving me 48 payments of 408! This is against full price of 33.5k

Ok my car has a wee bit of finance to clear and that's in the deal but in my book, that still only adds up to dealer contribution of 5.5k, nowhere near any advertised deal.

Really disappointed!

Yeah, sounds like a bad deal, although when I went into my dealer, the first set of figures missed out one of the discounts, and I just couldn't understand it...when I questioned it on the 2nd occasion, they admitted their mistake!

The £2225 is the equipment contribution from BMW, so doesn't cost the dealer anything. Also, there is the price difference between the M-Sport model and the one below (cos they are giving you the sport upgrade for free), so thats another £3000ish - again, direct from BMW. My dealer then gave me 10% off the price of the car, so another £3000ish, so over £8000 in total. Cant remember the exact figures now, but I'm sure it was more like £8500. This is all before any part ex is talked about.

Remember, you should be able to walk in off the street with £1500 in your pocket and no more, and walk out with the car and 48x£299 etc. So if you are part-exing a car, the first £1500 of its equity is the deposit, and the rest is either cash back for you, pays for more toys or reduces the payments. It seems some dealers are adjusting the offer, so this is based on my dealer, but what you say doesn't sound right. They are still working to the offer aren't they?

Over 9k dealer contribution...that has to be a record :D

:poke:
Got the following deal from Stratstone Tyneside, Wallsend in Tyne and Wear.
£300.12 per month for 36 months.
£9891 dealer contribution

Doesn't sound right to me or the dealer is being stingy.

The finance deal is still up on BMWs website although it does say "participating dealer"

http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/pricesandspecifications/0,,1156___bs-WjQ%3D%40bb-RTg5X1JP,00.html?seriesID=Z4&bodyID=E89_RO&offerAction=showOffer&requestSource=topnav

The same deal was on my local dealers website then the day after I placed my order they took it off so depends on the dealer I reckon and how long the deal lasts for. If its on BMWs main website then your dealer should honour it I would say.

I would see what other dealers there are within say 50 mile radius and have a look on their respective websites and see what their offering.

Surely it would be worth travelling a little if it saves you 7K :)

Tim.

That is very good indeed, sounds like all of their margin has gone and more!

What is the purchase price, deposit and GFV?

Hi there fellas

I have just picked my Z4 M sports up Saturday 3rd

My Deal with BMW is £2000 Deposit
£299 a month over 2 years

Alpine white Coral red leather heated seats.

Andy

The deal all depends on the dealer i've found. When I bought my 3.0 m sport e89 new the dealer was short on his new reg target so the 39k list price with options became 33k ish.

If anyone here knows Trainer BMW that is a mega acheivement getting 15% off them.

Taking finance usually goes in your favour. Cash is no longer king. With finance, you are giving "them" extra money in essence.

Hell I remember buying my Celica and being the dumb lad I was back then I took actual cash to the Toyota dealership... what a nightmare. They actually refused to take the cash. Money laundering :fuelfire: they said. So they gave me a lift to the bank

I sold my BMW 1 Series a couple of weeks ago. The guy wanted to bring along cash to buy it! I refused because it could be forged or anything. Got him to transfer it to my account!

got a sdrive20i from the dealer today for a test drive, they'll pick it up tomorrow. have to be honest, I love the interior of the E89 but the 20i is definitely not the engine for me :?

Too slow Navid?

I am not a fast driver, so speed isn't the issue :P but the engine doesn't sound as nice as the 6 cylinder, haven't put it in sport mode yet which I shall try shortly.

as I said, very nice environment to be in, especially in comparison to E85/E86, more grown up but I think I shall hold onto mine and if one day decided to get an E89, I shall go for a bigger engine than 20i. 28i was nicer but don't fancy paying almost £4000 more for that engine :(

forgot to say, considering this model has been out nearly 3 years, you would have thought they would have sorted the issue of condensation in rear lights by now!

OK so how was sport mode

I agree about the 28i but the pricing doesn't make much sense. There is no additional kit, just the performance. Seems a lot extra just for that, shame it wasn't a couple of grand difference.

the 20i is a great car but as I am used to my 6 cylinder 2.5, I keep comparing the 2 while driving and can't say what is it, but it doesn't make my heart boil :P sport mode made things a bit more noisy and interesting, but I am afraid no deal for me  should keep saving for 30i or 35i realistically.

as you say, the 28i is just the SE spec, if you want M kit that would be on the top.

Thanks to this thread I've ordered a new 2.0 M Sport. Spec is completely standard aprt from metallic (Space Grey). Got a good price for my Mini Cooper S and paying £2k down £299 x 24. Had no intention of changing just came across the offers whilst browsing the BMW site, and found this thread last week via google.
