Z4 2.0i M Sport Finance Deals

Thanks Keith I will try to better the deal. Also I have been told the car is available this week rather than having to wait 6-8 weeks.

The car may be a dealer demo, they tend to move them around from dealer to dealer, within the same franchise...I had a test drive in a white one with black leather, comfort pack and 19's. I thrashed it a bit a few days later my mate took it for a spin and in his words "well thrashed it" One of my neighbours had seen the same car at a local shopping centre on display advertising the current offer from our local dealer, he went along a few days later to have a better look, he was told the car had been sold with a queue of people wanting to buy it. The car had been used as a demo for about a week then sold as new.

Just a word of caution, there are no Z4s available other than those bought in by the dealer for their use, if it is brand new it will need to be ordered...If he is going to offer you a "just can't refuse it deal" then go for it but it looks like his proposal is pretty poor to be honest 3k down and £399 a month!!! I assume this is 24 months at 4.9% even then you can do much much better and it is worth the wait...we are having so much fun on here watching the clock slowly tick tock

At the end of these terms will most pay the final payment on the car or hand back the keys?

Hand back the keys after 2 years and go for the next thing on offer...too many years of owning cars and losing a shed load of my money, I am happy to pay to use one and then give it back.

I guess when you upgrade after 2 years you have to stump up another depost!

I'm trying to get my head around it, as I have always owned my cars out right.

Peejay, looks like he is selling you a stock one, how many miles? Would you not prefer brand new?

Thanks for the info - it looks like it's likely a demo one then. I would prefer a brand new car however I am currently without a car and could do with a set of wheels sooner rather than later! Although I could always buy a run around if I had to wait.

I will find out tomorrow exactly if it is a demo. I got the impression the car arrived late this week. So maybe they are using a car that was ordered as a demo as stock straight away due to demand ?

In any case I will find out tomorrow and use it to negotiate a better price!!

If i can, this may make me feel better about buying a car which is a demo... or perhaps was meant to be a demo... we'll see 8)

I spoke to Douglas Park about this deal... It's only on some cars which they have already ordered. The spec cannot be modified but it's fine if these are the only options you want and they have the colour you're after.

They seemed to have a few different cars available but the only one I asked about was white with red interior.
I would have done business with them but eastern BMW in Edinburgh were closer, did the same sort of discount and I could spec it as I liked - stuck with the 18" wheels but added wind deflector and heated steering wheel.

To be honest, I think I would prefer the 18" wheels, especially on an M Sport model with M Sport suspension.

When did you enquire? Is this a fairly new offer?

Sorry for all the questions. My sDrive 23i is going in to their place at Hillington on Wednesday to have the roof repaired, but I might speak to my sales guy at the Kyle Street place about this.

Hand back defo possibly in 36 if something better appears

Hold on a moment, are you saying that the exhaust note we have all been creaming our pants over is coming from a 23i and not a 20i?

So it is the 2.5l six that is making that noise? He specifically says it is the new 4 pot turbo 20i...
I would say so. Apart from the shifter, the redline on the car he drives doesn't start until 7000 and although I don't have a pic or recall where the redline starts on the 20i, I would say that it would be sooner than 7000.

Perhaps someone with a 20i can post a pic of their rev counter?

I am not happy with that knob DeonG, he's got me all juiced up over that 20i he say's he is driving...it turns out it is indeed a 23i.

I managed to do a vidcap of the only bit in the whole video were you get a shot of the side designation badge, croped it to 200% and it does say 23i. So that lovely exhaust note came from a normally aspirated six not a 4 cylinder turbo.

I have tried to paste the jpeg in here with the HTML code but it doesn't work for some reason, can anyone help?

It was about 2-3 weeks ago when I spoke to them. Couldnt tell you how long it's been on offer for but surely any that were fixed orders back then must be coming up for delivery in the next couple of weeks... I only ever spoke to them over the phone a few times so may not have got all the information - I think the salesman was called Hugh but dont quote me on that.

Kev R - I will sell you my 23i :P

I've just dropped my sales guy at Douglas Park an email, to see if we can meet and chat tomorrow. This is by far the best deal I've seen on the 20i and I think it needs a closer look, since mine is coming up for 3 years old in 3 months time.

I will definitely want a test drive of the 20i to see how it compares to the luscious, sweet sounding 6-in-line :poke: Fuel economy is a plus point of the 20i though.

Hi all,

My first post on here :)

Have placed an order today for the 2.0 M Sport in Titan Silver, Corel Red leather and just added heated seats and folding mirrors, didnt go overboard. Currently own a 2010 118d M Sport and was planning of swapping for the new model. Got wind of the great finance deal at the mo, I think it is Keith on here who was on BabyBmw who mentioned the deals BMW are doing on the Zed.

Anyways did the deal at 299 per month, 4.9% APR, just over 7K dealer contribution and I will be paying 3.5K deposit so pleased with the result. Delivery date is down for the end of March :) Looking forward to it.

Dealer didn't have a 2.0 demo in so had a go in the 2.3i 6 cyl, very nice indeed.

Cheers,

Tim.

Just waiting to hear what Keithr deal was on his z4.

Think I might be calling up some dealers tomorrow :) live in Leicester and sytners don't seem to have any good deals so at the moment dougles park is the front runner. I take it I can sort this over the phone ok?

Hi forum,
Hi TitanTim

My second post on here :)

I've ordered an sDrive28i M Sport in Alpine White, Corel Red Kansas leather, 19" Double-spoke style 326 M alloy wheels, heated seats, steering wheel heating, Loudspeaker system BMW Business, extended lighting, and folding mirrors (with auto dims). Passed up on the DAB radio and adaptive M sport suspension, as well as the wind deflector... hope I dont regret that £215 saver!

Currently own a 2006 130i M Sport (5 door) all the bells and whistles as it was an ex dealer demo. It'll be traded in and missed come March*, no date as of yet. Hopefully I'll not miss the sound of the straight 6 too much.

Got the following deal from Stratstone Tyneside, Wallsend in Tyne and Wear.
£300.12 per month for 36 months.
£9891 dealer contribution
The 130i M sport (2 owner, 1 dealer, 1 me) traded in with no cashback. (valued about 8k?)

The following also given as sweeteners...
5 year service
BMW seal + protect :fuelfire:
Retal price protection (GAP)
Tyre insurance
BMW polo shirt

No date given yet but orderd the very end of January so hoping for mid-midlate March hopefully!

The best thing was the dealer didnt have a demo car on site and ordered one in for me to try out, but I missed the appointment due to work commitments. Instead of giving me a good ticking off for missing it, the salesman offered me a test drive in the showroom 20i !! only 36 miles on the clock. Thats good selling in my books, they had my sale.

This thread has grown lots with a few points about the noise.

I have heard the engine in the showroom and it still sounds very good. It was enough to make me grin and I don't grin very often.

However, for all interested I found this video of an indepth tour of the new Z4 28i kicking about you tube. You will unfortunately get pissed off with the American sales mans accent however focus on the car and squeeze a stress ball.

TitanTim what's your name on BabyBMW?

Also Dave34z4, you got an amazing deal from Stratstone in Tyneside, I take it your 130i was an 8k deposit as well?

Jonny, I would maybe follow his deal if you can. Show it to the dealer and see what you can do...

BUTTTTTT

If they want to see an official offer then go to Menzies BMW in Stirling page with this link.

http://www.menziesbmw.co.uk/currentoffers/own.html?id=14288

It's the highest deposit contribution I have seen any deal offer in their pages. I will PM you tomo when I have more time!

My advice is go to Eastern BMW as they done very well with me and I have been impressed with them. Avoid Peter Vardy, I had a nightmare with them. I will get a nice call when I clear my finance. Can't wait to tell them about. Y new toy that they never sold me!

Cheers KeithJ.

I take it you mean follow Daves34z4. The deal does look good but thats with a tradein, i wont be trading anything in. Still trying to get my head around this PCP thing, i have only ever brought cars outright but it seem to making some sence with this massive dealer contributions.
