Z3 to Ferrari in one easy step........

It must be asked - are you going to keep it?
Yes, Ian, I am planning to.
However, I haven't driven it yet, so don't know if I will like it. I have also been told by others that it will probably attract a LOT of attention. I am not really keen on the thought of that TBH.

We shall see.

I built a house a few years ago. I put my heart and soul into it and was extremely proud of it. It was a beautiful house. Then I sold it. Now I regret selling it.
So if I have learned anything, I shouldn't sell this car, as I have put more of my heart and soul into this than building the house. Problem I have is I can't help but want to turn my hard work into hard cash. Money isn't everything (unless you don't have any of course).

If money isn't everything I hope you keep it for a while after all you've put into building it!

Looks fantastic bud, I had no doubts it'd be the highest standard because you won't accept anything less 👍

IMO the only thing needed to make it 100% is the age related plate which I presume will go on after the MOT?

Well done bud, I couldn't have done it 👍

Congratulations you must be chuffed, not bad for a 'garagista!' as Enzo would have probably said

looks stunning, and will be great to get it out for a drive on a sunny sunday afternoon, love it....

It’s hard to change your nature. But that looks like a keeper to me. 👍

Who you been talking to?
It was the white lightning that got me this far, so don't knock it.
On a more refined note, I truly think you've done a sterling job. I've seen so many replicas with shody interiors that haven't seen the same attention to detail as they have paid on the exterior, that's where most fail I think. But, kudos to you, your interior looks just as incredible as the exterior. It's testament to your vision and very well executed. OCD can be a good thing in some cases

Very impressive - the only tell tale signs of its Z3 origin I can see are the top of the windscreen and the soft top frame.

Hope it drives as good as it looks 👍

And the quarter lights. The original didn't have them, but if I took them out the window wouldn't fit.

Agreed but unlike the Z3 the door card sits proud to the baseline so they do look slightly different.

I just had to Google to see if the Z3 coupe had the taillights and it did. Am I right in thinking that only the hard top version of the Ferrari had them not the soft top?

That is truly incredible sir. Stunning finish set off by the most perfect body and interior colour scheme. I hope that you enjoy driving her and all the attention you will get. ;)
