Z3 to Ferrari in one easy step........

Pondy

Muppet
At the summit of the picturesque fens
......and 21 months, and many hours of frustration and loads of money.
But it is finally roadworthy and ready to MOT, insure and tax. Still a few small bits and pieces to do (not least a bespoke exhaust) but the vast majority is done and everything works.
It isn't perfect but for a complete novice like me I think it is pretty good.

So here are a million pictures for your delectation:)

Andy let me be the first to say well done- I know it’s been a labour of love and I am sure I couldn’t have done it myself

Credit to you

Good luck with the mot and we will get that temp gauge working

Looking really good and I’m sure it’s a lot better than you’re giving yourself credit for. Well done that man, I bet you can’t wait to get it on the road.

I'm going to hopefully get the MOT garage to whip the drain plug out and bung the sensor in. It can't go anywhere else but in the block, as all the other water temp sensors do multiple things.

That looks fantastic Andy, congratulations on finally getting there and good luck with the MOT.

I just hope you are going to keep it for a while!

It needs it's headlight covers but I ain't putting them on until the headlights have been adjusted for the MOT. They are not easy to get off once on.

Congratulations, I was sceptical when you started but you've only bin'n'gone'n'dunnit

Looks lovely and I'm sure that it'll fly through the MOT

Incredible work, I only discovered and skimmed through your build thread last week.

After all the expenses I think its time to celebrate and crack open your finest 3l bottle of white lightning and light up some duty free cigarettes.;)

Just wow, that looks gorgeous, so congratulations and very well done for the hard work and perseverance and may I be the first to ask when you'll be advertising it for sale?

The best conversion I’ve ever seen. Truly a thing of great beauty! Well done doesn’t come close πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

Who you been talking to?
It was the white lightning that got me this far, so don't knock it.

Absolutely stunning Andy. You must be over the moon with the result. Superb achievement. It must be asked - are you going to keep it?πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
