Z3 project...no going back now!

So my 'fakerrari' has been at the bodyshop for 4 weeks now. I spoke to them earlier today and things are progressing well, so they say!

But the big news (to me anyway) is that they have paint samples ready for me to peruse. :D

The bad news is I can't go over until Monday to get them. The Corsa Rubino is looking favourite, hopefully it looks something like either of these two:

Well the second one is purple
It's maroon, you philistine!
I really like it, as it looks 'classy' and 'classic' to me. I think it will be more like the first picture, though, which is fine.
I have seen the 'default' choice of Rosso Barchetta in the flesh and it looks nice as it's a really rich red, just a bit 'ferrari generic red' (and I know someone who has his in that colour and don't want to copy him).

I definitely prefer the look of the first one.

Maroon reminds me of stodgy 60s BMC cars like my aunt and uncle's 1100, etc.

You’ll look like a plum

The maroon is definitely more of a period colour
I could almost mistake that as a Ferrari 250 California on your driveway Jabber, at least it’s (nearly) the right colour.

I guess red is a little too obvious but the classic colour. Maroon is nice but a little old fogey :o

Ferrari Yellow would be something different although a bit loud but would look epic.

Personal choice end of the day.

Tim.

I like maroon. Probably because I am of a certain age and fit exactly into Mr Tidy’s ‘old fogey’ category. But for a Ferrari it’s got to be red. I’m really looking forward to seeing the end product Andy. I’m sure it will look good. No matter what colour you finally choose.
