Supergrass, Glasgow Barrowlands, 1996. I was 18. Closely followed by Blur, The Verve, Radiohead, Eels and Ash. Been to hundreds since then but still haven't managed to see The Foo Fighters or Muse.

Muse are an awesome band to see live. The lightshows are amazing. One of the few gigs I have been to where I have stood at the back to get the full effect.

Foo Fighters @ Milton Keynes in 3 weeks

AC/DC Fly on the Wall Tour and Hawkwind, both awesome in completely different ways. Best Gigs probably Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and seeing Page and Plant on their 'unledded tour', also seeing Percy solo was pretty damn awesome.

My first concert was "Deep Purple" at Caird Hall, Dundee in 1974 - my hearing has never been the same since!

My wife saw "The Beatles" at Caird Hall, Dundee in 1964!

She also saw the "Rolling Stones" in 1965 for 15/- !!!!

My older sis saw the Stones at a club in early 63 I think, her and her idiot mates booed them off the stage,
My Sis, what a claim to fame

Taken a bike ride when i was a kid and stoped in the country side for a rest, when in a distent open barn a group started playing The House Of The Riseing Sun, before it was even played on air, still sends a chill down my spine.

Wish I'd been about to see Queen :x

First concert - I think Bon Jovi in Hampden, but it might have been Moby in Edinburgh Castle (Hogmanay). They were within a few months of each other - think Hogmanay was first though. The Bon Jovi one a mate went home and had to explain to his missus why his neck & shoulders were covered in scratches from my girlfriend's friend who'd gone with us. (The innocent answer being she was short so was sat on his shoulders with a sharp metal belt!).

Johnny Cash, Cambridge Corn Exchange around 1989. I was 16 and bizarrely along with my best mate at the time - both heavily into the UK hip hop scene - used to listen to Boy Name Sue, Orange Blossom Special etc. Still to this day have no idea why but I guess that's what being 15 is or was all about!
Didn't properly appreciate it at the time but as I've got older it's sort of become the coolest gig I've ever been to.

Blur - Leisure UK tour 1992, Sheffield Octagon -

I was 16 and missed half of their set as i was outside the gig puking up the 20/20 and whitelightening i had been drinking

 Quality!

Can't remember the first. Was reading festival in the early 1990s. Mud Honey, L7, and the wonderstuff with cameo from vic reeves sticks in mind, Think Icu cube played too. Would have been to a Europe concert as a kid with my dad but didn't do my homwork so was grounded. Last gig was V. Made the effort because Oasis were playing and I'd never got round to seeing them live. Glad I did, they split up after the gig.

Rock the Bowl, Milton Keynes (1990 I think)...

headlining - ZZ Top... with support from Bryan Adams among others..

I was 15/16, boy did I have to do some persuading to be allowed to go to that :D

Marrilion Demontfort Hall Leicester 1984 I think ... I was there the night they recorded the "real to reel" album.. Also saw Saxon at rock city Nottingham the same year .. Followed by the great Iron Maiden and Def leppard :D
