Xenon bulb recommendations

I know headlights on the z4 are not great at the best of times but I think my xenon bulbs are getting on now and could do with changing.

Who's changed theirs and what bulbs did you go for?
 
If you’re experiencing degradation of your headlights it’s probably more to do with the condition of the external plastic lens more than the bulb.
Polishing them will make a world of difference as it has done in my case. (Still on original bulbs from 2003)

Edit: some photos would be handy for judgement before you go shelling out 100 quid per bulb...?
 
Even if your bulbs are good, there are plenty of upgrades with better parameters available. I personally just bought a set of Osram Xenarc Night Breaker Lasers, I had a very good experience with them in my previous car.
 
I changed to osraam xenarc night breaker and it makes a noticeable difference.
Definitely clean the lenses too.
 
I went for a pair of Yeakey D2S bulbs for my Xenons. +50% brighter (apparently) but I can confirm they DO make a noticeable difference. £25 per pair from Ebay.

Did you go for the 4500k 'daylight' ones or the chav-tastic 8000k ice-blue ones :poke:

They didn't have the 4500k ones in stock, so I went for the 6500k instead - the light is definitely much more white than blue, so don't send me that "Chavtastic" badge just yet.... :P
 
Thanks for the replies. The outer lenses are in good condition so don’t think that’s too much of an issue.
 
Based on a recommendation on here I bought a pair of Osram Xenarc 6000K last year for my car and I've been pleased with them.

Hi @Jl-c and @mr tidy, where did you buy Osram Xenarc 6000K from? Just did a google and seeing way too many options. I would be grateful If you can share links. Thanks
