PS4 for me looking forward to it arriving next week although a bit disappointed there is no stand out driving title at launch with drive club being delayed. I guess I will have to keep the PS3 for Gran Turismo 6. I had 360 & PS3 but preferred the PS3 I won't rule out getting an XBox one at some point though. We should get some Z4 forum games online with people on here seems there is a few gamers about.
I have loads of friends that are still into games as others have said it helps avoid the reality tv rubbish we have inflicted on us !

Found my first disappointment with the XB1 last night as I plugged my USB stick on to watch some downloaded US TV episodes.
As it is, the XB1 doesn't provide any media playing functions other than those built into the music or video apps.
Seems the XB360 will be staying plumbed in for a while.
Forza 5 looks stunning, but the anti-aliasing needs work as you can see jagged edges and breaks when it does a slow mo around the car.
Installing things can take FOREVER though. I couldn't play FM5 until it had done a 6gb 'update' and that took 6 hours on a 130mb connection. I'm hoping this sort of server congestion won't be the norm as I've got a huge FIFA download to do too.

Absolutely love 4 player NBA 2014 with my 'crew' without online abuse
PS3 cost me £490 eight years ago with F1 Championship Edition........ never again. I'll wait for the price drop

Hmmm, not just me then. Call me grinch but if I want to shoot someone I'll go paint balling and if I want to drive as fast as I can I'll grab the car keys and head for a track. Must be a generational thing cos when I offer the same opportunities to the step kids they just look blank. Almost as if the outside world is too much for them to cope with. I'll give you the access part but what's looking like a tw*t got to do with anything and why would it stop you doing something? my point is why cocoon yourself in front of a screen when there is a real world outside the door.

I've got good friends all over the country and social media is brilliant to stay in touch with people , and tbh without it friendships would not be so strong. I also know loads of people who have meet partners online with friends of ours getting married.
I will always play computer consoles first one was a mega drive! , but I do lack the time these days .... I had not played my ps3 for 6/7 months till the new gta came put played it solid for 2 weeks not played it since , always be a gamer .... Just lack the time these days
Embrace it guys it's good fun... Same changes have brought us forums like this.... Why not go down the pub could be the same reaction and talk to real people

Crikey there always someone having a moan. So what if they want to play video games! If you don't like them why the hell do you bother coming on a thread about XBox One v PS4?

Don't get the next gen thing myself. Saw both a new Xbox and PS4 today in the flesh and one things for sure....they aren't getting any smaller!
Also saw the Xbox playing what looked like street fighter.....graphics not really that good.
Seen trailers for Forza???? on one of them and the graphics are so good, you can see the orange peel effect in the paint etc....but the thing is, is that necessary? Does it add to gameplay? (perhaps it does, I'm just asking).
I guess all progress is good, and I'm not a gamer, so can't really comment.
I hope those of you that are into it, enjoy them.
