I think BMW brought out the 5 series GT so people would stop calling the X6 ugly and start throwing stones at the GT. They look related to me, somewhere at the bottom of the gene pool next to the Pontiac Aztec, now that was UGLY !!!!!

AS for the earlier posts about beng off topic, I thought that "Other Marques" referred to other "Makers" not other models. ??????? What is it?

Now this is probably a bit controversial on here, but if my dealer had got an X6 in my price range when I was looking to change, I would have probably been in it now rather than the new Z4!
Still keeping an eye on the dealer's stock now! :wink:

I think it's a fantastic looking car, but absolutely pointless. It was on Top Gear last week, looked great but it was crap at driving off-road.

BMW had a sort of comeback on that test!

The X6 will probably be my next purchase when I bored with sports cars. I think now I would buy one over an M3 to be honest!
I really hope it flops sale wise so I can buy one cheap.

I like the X6 and would consider buying one down the line. I certainly wouldn't expect to be using it in muddy fields, but it's good to see its not utterly useless!

There were a couple in Saint Gervais last week, dark colours and big wheels... looked the business in that environment... a good snowboard wagon
