X6 ugly or not

As ugly and pointless as a Cayenne.

Also quite like the interior too.
Odd one is the 5 series GT which I've seen side by side with the X6 and they're very similar.

I thought there were pointless and ugly, but actually last week I saw one with 20" wheels and wide tyres and it looked great. Wouldn't ever have one though.
As you know I have an X5, but wouldn't have an X6. While I actually think it's an attractive car from the front (given the huge size and scale of the thing) it misses the point.
The X5 is a load lugger with 5 seats, refined compared to true 4x4 that are rather industrial and therefore a purpose in life as such. Knock it's 4WD all you will, but mine happily tows 2 tonne of Jeep across Europe, muddy campsites, and I can still turn up at corporate offices in it.
The X6 has only 4 seats, limited carrying capacity and iirc low tow capacity.

i think its trying to be more like a range rover sport and hasnt quite done it as well.
it is a good looking car IMO and by the look of it by the majority of others, so taz x your taste might not be as good as you thinkoke: plus id rather agree with lucy who also drives a coupe and is most probably better looking oke:
its a posers car without doubt, you can see them all black with tinted windows driving through town. to be honest its not much use for anything else

Did I miss a Top Gear review very recently? The lads on my 4x4 site are pi55ing themselves about the fact it couldn't climb a little grassy bank allegedly???? :fuelfire:
