Its a Z4 M sport.

I dare say you have to give £10,000 down and own the car over a set period of time, then the car returns to the brokeridge company..

Yep very interesting. It says 2009 but in the add its 2010. 2009 M sport was not out until 59 plate.

Bad

My 2 old SI sports had M sport stuff, only the steering whel showed the M badge but BMW did not brand it as M sport. Outside nothing was different other than 18 inch rims than a standard SI, bumpers were the same.

Now Msport is the same package, lowered susspension, seats, steering wheel, but now wheels, door trims and gear knob shows the M badge. Now the bumpers are different so a bit more visible difference from a sdrive. All confusing but must admit the Msport does look much more aggressive. but you can get this even in a 1.8 its currently a free upgrade on 1.8, 2.0 and 2.8. Infact I have yet to see a 2.8 non msport.

The ad states "£9995 initial deposit, no monthly payments, No final payment and own the car outright at the end of the agreement. No monthly payments to worry about, no mileage restrictions and a car in the colour / spec of your choice." :o

Soft top roadster? :D

I'm tempted to contact the seller to say, I live in Whetherby with cash in hand and will be round tomorrow. Whats the betting they say, the car is currently abroad but if I send them the money now it will be shipped over to the UK

Tim.

Would love to see how this scam works. Keep this updated as it unfolds

There's a post on PH about it...

In essence (copied from the post)

" I had a lengthy exchange of emails about a £50k Car for £25k. The deal is this: you pay brokermy £25k. They arrange 60 months hp agreement with some finance house or other for the £50k. They pay £2k initial payment to finance house and then put £23k into some "commodities" based financial product that is "contractually guaranteed" to produce a 22% (yes that is not a typo!) return out of which the finance payments are made. Sounded too good to be true to me. If commodities product failed I would still be on the hook for £50k having paid £23k to brokermy!! Claimed 3 years of growth in audited accounts but brokermy ltd only registered in 2012. Do your own research and if you are happy to believe that you can get a £50k car for £25k sign up! It was not for me :-) "

Just so you know guys, the car pictured has been or is for sale on Ebay through the genuine owner, think he had it up for around 21k ish.

As mentioned theres so many errors on the ad its untrue, but to be honest there are better and easier ways to Z4 ownership then to deal with this company. How much do you want to be that the company has asked the owner if they can use the pics.

Worth looking at the BrokerMy.co.uk website - in essence you get them to sell your vehicle for you which is probably what the guy on e bay has been persuaded to do. IMO - better to get a cheap loan from the bank if you intend to borrow to purchase.

if they dont own it then ebay should pull it, if its not their photo then its breach of copyright, I had some muppet copy one of my adds competing directly with me, silly cow, I told her to pull the photo but she ignored it, ebay did it. I dont mind some one selling the same goods as me but taking my photo I have spent time taking and editing the cheek.
