You shouldn't have to do anything to it really, let them sort it, despite the time that's passed. Difficult to force them to fix it though...

i have since got some 2nd hand m sport springs off the forum and need to fit them and see what the ride height is like (approx 15mm lower than standard) but am thinking of possibly going lower to say 30mm like the kit you got..... depending on how practical it is etc.
