Hi Chaps
Hav'nt had the wheels off yet,she sits on 18's with 225x40's,does the height look standard or slightly lowered

Only asking,as since i bought her,i'm finding one of the former owners had undertaken a few upgrades, which the guy i bought it off never mentioned

If it has it's not buy much. :) Looks about the same as my ///M. Have you taken a peek at the springs?

Id say it has been dropped , especially if 225 40 255 35 tyres on 18s & Se spec .
Are the wheels Veemann 34s by any chance ? 8)

I honestly don’t know wheels but I love them

Much the same as mine at the front. My shocks look original so will be 15 years old now. Have new shock coming in September for a refresh. That may change the height. Surely after 15 years they will have lost a bit of rebound.

They are very similar style & colour to my own 19inch Veemann's but on closer scrutiny i don't think they are the same

the easiest way to find out would be getting your head in and looking for markings on the springs.

If you find markings then someone on here will know what they are.

How so?

Looks like the springs are much newer than the dampers which suggests they have been changed so it was a cheap lowering job.

They look like standard black springs, more than likley it's failed the mot due to a snapped rear spring and they've been replaced with supplex oem equivalent

Also, his question wasn't how its been lowered, simply if it's lowered or not.
