Like my title says, I'm sure these are worth more than gold, the world's gone mad with its prices.

I said the very same thing the the inlaw when I picked them up from their house and said these are going in the safe lol. It's only a year to 18months ago when these was about half this price, double ouch.Mr Tidy said:Jollyjoiner said:Cheapest I could get them for was £228 each
Ouch.
And I thought M parts were expensive! I hope you have a safe to keep them in.

Yes I had mine walnut blasted a two or three months ago just in case it was that, at least that's been done now, fingers crossed the new injectors will sort it now, car deserves a bit more pampering anyway lolB21 said:My injectors came out very easily….one showed significant seal deterioration…car wasn’t running obviously rough so will be difficult to determine any obvious improvement.
Walnut blast had a marked effect on idle smoothness.
Your cold start is emblematic of a failing injector.

plus new decoupler clips and I bought an n54 injector puller for £48 just incase they take some pulling out so I'm now in for around £1480
Ed.Straker said:Would be interesting to average out the fleet's failures versus collective costs of warranties? One thought that had struck me was that on the 35i most of the failures don't stop the car going, just become increasingly more inconvenient. On the N20 powered ones, if the one gremlin, the cam chain goes then its good night Vienna!

My excess is the same, but the policy doesn't include assist.ronk said:Mine was£420 with a £250 excess and including assist.
Yes. If I didn't have a joint AA membership with my wife, I'd certainly have taken the BMW Assist option with the insured warranty, which, for me, would have been better.ronk said:That’s the difference!
The assist was a very important part of the package for me.
