Ah, smacks of denial there.....reminded me of when we lived down Somerset way, wife was sent on secondment to Shepton Mallet - locals she worked with complained of her strong accent (she speaks proper posh, unlike me) and when she observed that she also had problems understanding them, was told "we ain't got an accent, we ain't...." :roll:envy said:derby doesnt have an accent.... unless you go into the villages..... but then you are in a whole different world![]()

If you really want hear a unique style. Check out New Orleans Cajun chef Justin Wilson. His accent isn't bad, But it's the odd structure the Cajuns use.
