So did Iran suddenly get much better, Wales get even worse or was England’s performance against Iran better than first thought?

After last night. I think you have inside information! We were "good old England playing not to get beat", as usual! And it will be the same against the Taffs. "A win and a draw is all that's needed to progress to be knocked out in the next round". Should be England Managers' motto.

Saudi Arabia are my new favourite team. They got beat by the Polskis, but boy do they lose in style and with heart?!
 
Morocco were brilliant against the Belgians IMO. Thoroughly deserved to win! :thumbsup:
 
Haven't watched a single game and no intention of doing so, but hope the Iranians get through after their protest against what is a very hostile Govt.

From reading the papers today, if England top the group it looks like Holland in the first of the knockouts. :cry:

Dont watch any football but have heard about Christiano Ronaldo claiming that he scored a goal the other day and am confused.
Now I havnt played a lot of football either in my time but I would think that although I am not an expert I would know whether or not the ball had hit my head or not.
