It's one thing scoring six goals against Iran but letting two in.............? Doesn't bode well for when we meet the big boys. I hope I am proved wrong but I don't have confidence with Maguire at the heart of the defence.
Could be something to do with Pickford being over emotional and playing for a weak team in the Premiership... never had much confidence in him at the best of times but this season he should never have been picked as 1st for England.
I may be a little biased but when he was playing for Sunderland he was a fantastic keeper behind what some uneducated may think was a poor team. He went to Liverpool and I think he went down hill from there.
