World cup discussion

Don't have any interest across the pond here as to me it is not "football". But if you enjoy the game and are into it then wish your team well.

We call it football as it is primarily using your feet to direct the ball.
Yours should be called 'chuck-it'. :poke: :D

And to you for having a proper sense of humour..................... and humor.

Getting back to the football for one moment:

I thought Bellingham was fantastic! Trippier and, of course, Saka (I'm a Gooner) played very well.
Iran are not exactly Brazil, or Belgium, but England looked good IMHO.
Holland v Senegal was a snooze fest for 85 minutes.

Looking forward to see how Wales get on tonight.

All of the above. + even Kane played a team player :)

Well they won me a keg of beer so happy about that, a return to glorious failure will make me happier though. 8)

Same every 4 years. Win one match against poor opposition and that's it! England will obviously win the World Cup........................
Still think quarter-finals would be good.

The problem, as always mate, is the English media and pundits and their arrogance. Were it not for that i'd happily support you.

Once we get passed the USA and Wales, the real football begins so you won't have to wait too long.

I am one of those who are not watching it. Shouldn't have been awarded to Qatar, not because of it being Qatar but the corruption in them being awarded it. Secondly the England team taking the knee puts me off entirely.
