Wobble under braking

So there is no wheel wobble while driving. But occasionally when you brake you get a strange sensation. Sought of like what a warped disc would feel like. The usual suspects have occurred to me but the fact that is only there occasionally is making me doubt myself.
Any help appreciated.

I had this and it was an intermittent problem so I was 95% sure it wasn't a warped disk as sometimes it didn't happen and it turned out to be a sticky brake caliper on the front.

May just be getting hot now and again. Is it just a rumble or a shudder?

Same, felt like a slow pulsing sensation when bringing the car to a dead stop - possibly exacerbated by a slightly warped disc.

Picked up as an MOT failure (binding caliper) but I had a fresh set of refurbished calipers fitted and the problem went away.

I have just had the same problem occur driving through France, on the ferry now but will check it out in the morning, had a similar problem last year when I just bought the car and it then got gradually worse until the calliper completely seized solid. This time it feels slightly different as in when I’m braking slowly coming to a stop it feels if the brakes are going on and off but very lightly but at speed the the shake gets worse the higher I go.

Certainly sounds like a sticking calliper to me, does the wheel get hotter than the others?

I checked the temperature of each wheel several times after this occurred. No noticeable difference. Don't think disc is overheating as it starts straight away when leaving a motorway. So brakes should be stone cold from doing motorway cruising, then on slip road as soon as you start breaking you get the sensation.

I believe our cars are well known for getting a sticky left hand front caliper, I experienced this on the M25 and was able to pull off quite quickly but the heat coming off just that wheel was quite alarming.

I have just posted on the discussion thread that I am just about to try getting my discs skimmed because of brake judder. This might be worth looking in to.
