On the other hand if the fog is that thick that I can't see the end of my car the speed limit should be reduced accordingly to 30 mph.
I'm all for more speed cameras on the motorway to enforce the new speed laws if they are fair, also if someone's doing well bellow the displayed speed limit in the 2nd or 3rd overtaking lane they should be fined too, as should tailgating. As for middle lane hoggers, well public ridicule and flogging seems like an appropriate punishment![]()

The entire NE with the exception of Maine is stuck on 65 MPH. The Mid-Atlantic and South is at 70 MPH. Most of the West is at 75 MPH and there are the few exception that are at 80 MPH. In Pennsylvania where I live there was an effort to raise the max speed limit to 75 but that was killed. Also a lot of the local roads that had a limit of 55 MPH have been reduced to 45 MPH.... :xepbrown said:WLH said:Wish This Would Happen In The US!
It IS happening in the US. Lots of states are 75mph already, and Texas just raised theirs to 85.
