Wire in RR Wing

Fuel pump, only few days ago looked up the red/white wire to fit a secret switch to disengage pump, anti theft.
You have located the wire for me, thanks.
Now i know where it enters the boot area.
 
I assume that wiring should have run inside the wheel liner not like it is?
 
Seeing that picture reminded me if there was enough space to add some sound deadening to the wheel arch liner, which is made from recycled rags by the look. Very easy to tare..
When driving i can constantly hear road noise as though coming from the rear speakers.

Most cars..according the guys who do sound proofing, are very bad on noise thrown up from front and rear wheel wells..fwiw

Bob, do you know the number of this missing part ?

(Pisses me off to no end that I pay good money for indies to stick their heads in nooks and crannies to see if anything is off, and none have noticed this. Ugh.)
 
More info on this. It seems tyre rubbing with the KW suspension caused wear and tear of the liner. Here’s how it looked right after the wheel came off. It’s a new liner and monitor this more closely. And check for wire integrity during the next big service.

Could have caused a power loss fuel pump cutting out inopportune moment..
Just shows, got to be careful lowering kits, etc.
